i think everyone goes through that, personally I know I have my moments. But friendships are about give and take, and one day you may just need them.
It seems more like you aren't happy with yourself, and there is a couple of things you can do. Write a list of all the things you want to try, then go out and try them...if something doesn't work out it doesn't matter, because you get satisfaction from knowing you tried. If it does work out then be glad you wrote the list and keep enjoying it...it may also gain you friends with some interests the same as yours.
You can also work on your self esteem which isn't as hard as it sounds. Think of one good thing you like about yourself everyday, without adding anything negative to it.
Sometimes you need to do something different from normal to bring you back into the swing of things..which is where that list comes in.

I know how you feel (or at least I think I do). I think you're main problem is that your getting yourself in a place where you have too much time to think about these things. You might be having trouble sleeping at night because of this... The best thing to do however is to learn to relax. I always find that taking up old or new hobbies is the easiest way to do this. Things that preoccupy your mind and don't give you a chance to think about these issues too much. Give yourself an objective for each day. Something to get done that will either help you or others. You say that your also getting sick of your friends and that you give and give. Maybe you be setting the example and opening up to them and explaining how you feel. I'm not saying that you should go all out and insult them but there are correct, constructive and mature ways of expressing yourself in a very respectful way. Remember not to be too dramatic though. I think youve stumbled on something. I think your ready for a different approach. I'll try what I can here but if you like send me a quick email.
Alot of people are negative in the world, I was one. I walked that road, I found that the people and things I did was directly in line with that attitude. So I changed it, I stopped hanging around them, changed my ways. Just basically took a more positive look on life. But you have to be teachable and understand what we feed our minds is what comes out. Good in doesnt equal bad out. Iam not a tree hugger, Iam a gruff Albertan Rancher lol.
Anyways I started thinking different started hanging around like minded people of where I wanted to be, and now Iam a successful business owner, and salesman. I never would have been there before. And yes you do see how much people complain and how little it really means.

Your a giver not a taker,and I hate to tell you that's the way you will always be,its hard sometimes cause people just take for granted that you understand they never seem to think that you might have something going on,But you will get past this and there will be alot more to come,Start thinking about yourself and give yourself a break don't let it get to you and don't hold it in...

Indeed you sound depressed and lonely. However it is not clear why.It is you who knows how it is started and better placed to solve it. Look inside yourself and analyse the problem. If you cant solve it then it will now be easier for you to share it with us your friends to help you. For now, you are still holding back something

You need to find new interests and meet new people. When i was going through depression i kept my self busy i went out to places i had always wanted to go, met new people and i also became a bit selfish and did what i wanted when i wanted.
