My boyfriend and I have known each other for 2 years, we met online and then we got to talk on the phone a few times. I made sure he was a legit guy and then his mom brought him up here to meet me. He only lives 5 hours away, but I am in Missouri and he is in Illinois. We are really in love! (Don't base that on just what I told you, you don't know the full story and I'm not asking you to comment on my life.)

What do you think of long distant relationships? Have you ever had one? Do you think they last?

(I am not asking this because I am uncertain, I'm just curious.)

Does ignoring you ex and pretending to be happy, really make him want you back?

I finally got over the fact that my boyfriend was never going to call or contact me again, since I hadn't heard from him in weeks and he never once picked up the phone to call me. Then I here from someone that I didn't even know that he said that he didn't have a girlfriend. So I just took the opertunity to release myself for our so called realationship and I officially did when this hot dude I met from around the way asked me out.

But here comes my ex three days after I hook up with this guy saying he had is computer in the shop all this time. So is this BS or what. What I want to ask you guys is how do I tell my ex I've moved on when he wants me to thing that I would what for him to talk to me whenever the hell he feels like it or when it freezes over. Please answer, because right know I'm just thinking I will ignore him and let him figure it out for himself...but I want to be a lady about the situation.

My boyfriend broke up with me b/c he feels that he can not be the person I deserve and that he needs to focus on himself right now, i.e. get a job, move etc. He was very upset, told me that he still loves me and that he wants me to be in his life, told me that when he is ready for a relationship he wants it to be with me. Not sure what to do. I love him very much, but I cant put my life on hold for him. How do I get him to work things out with me? Right now I have just been ignoring him and pretending that I am happy. What should I do?

are you close with your family? now i dont mean close in a physical way as if whether u guys live near each other or not...i mean close in a personal way as in....do you share secrets w/ each other and tell each other of ur personal lives and so on....etc.
i am just curious, because it seems that nowaydays...even people who live w/ their parents and/or their family members do not really have a close bond w/ them...is this normal???

I tend to atick with my dad because he's so much quiter than my mum & he doesn't stick up for himself.

My parents split up 12 years ago so its not like I'm interfering in an argument in the same house.

I feel that when my mum argues with my dad she argues with me too, anyone else feel like that?

The girl I am talking about is my old next door neighbor who I lived by from the time I was 8 to almost 18, I'm 20 now, she's a year younger grade wise than me. I think she developed a bit of a crush on me because I always played with her little brothers are almost 10 years younger than she is, I really love kids but I don't think this girl is my type at all, she always seemed so superficial.

Now she started her first year at my college where I'm a sophmore and she is starring at me constantly. It's gotten to the point where I am trying to avoid where I think she is going to be, I havn't even talked to her, I just stare back for a second then look away, I smiled last time, but she really wasn't even smiling, just starring at me. She is a very pretty girl, but like I said I look for girls with my same interests (sports, music playing).

How do I get this girl to stop staring at me? It's making me very uncomforatable...

OK everybody. She came back again. This is the second time,
after she finished writing me her "goodbye" letter. I think that
when a woman, tells you that she is not gonna marry her
boyfriend, and that the relationship is not going to work, then
that is a sign. Are you with me on this ladies ? So after being
involved, with a beautiful, passionate woman, online, then I
am taking this to the next level. We have to meet each other,
face to face. 8 months later, and still going strong. It seems
we can't get enough of each other. So, do you think this
friendship is worth it ? And should we pursue a relationship,
in the near future ?

After 6 years of no contact, my ex-boyfriend emailed me. After several letters we decided we want to get together for dinner. I don't want to tell my husband for fear he will be extremely upset. I really need my ex's friendship, but my husband will be furious that I have started a casual relationship with ex. Do I tell my husband or just keep it a secret?

My man told his son, who told my son-in-law, who told my daughter about our arguement last week. Now I am getting 20 questions about it.
Why did he have to tell our business?
Should I be (I am) upset about it?
What should I say to him?

I met someone , a gentleman and I gave him my numberphone. he shows me for the begining that he likes me and he said it to me and I love him. meanwhile an other man ' ready for marriage ) wants to marry me and he is gentleman but I do ont know him, I do not even see his face, I ve heard that he is good guy. I m confused, the first guy likes me but he is not ready for marriage , should I wait?, and I m not sure of his feelings towards me, I m afraid if he is lying on me, and he wants to pass time with me (just words). and I do not know who is the good one for me , the one who i can liv e happy with him. simply, should I wait the first one if he is really wants me or marry the secnd one' I do not like him and I do not want to know him' ?.

We have 3 kids - ages 14, 12 and 9. We've not been happy for a long time, started 5 yrs ago when he discovered "chat room" girlfriends. At first he was apologetic/kind, and we worked to make our relationship better. Now he refuses to have a conversation about our relationship and has made it clear that he'll make no effort in this regard- always turns into major verbal abuse from him if I try to initiate a calm discussion.

If he moves out, chances are the kids will grow up without their father. He's even less likely to make an effort with them once he's out of the house. I think he is developing mental issues, which has contributed to him not being able to keep a job - but is in complete denial.

I know the kids want us to stay married, he is well-behaved in their presence. Should I stick out a loveless marriage until the kids are out of the house? It's getting harder to keep myself from getting depressed as the years pass. BTW- I work and can (and do) support the family

some of you may have answered my question a few days ago about my fiance of 3 years that cheated on me in my 9th month of pregnancy which is now, im staying at my mothers until the baby comes, he wants to see her until the baby comes and then see how things work with us. i was pretty sure that no matter what i want to work it out with him, but right now he is being so selfish and was so rude when i talked to him this morning that i feel he does not deserve to be in the deivery room to see his daughter being born. i want him more than anything to be there and i really dont think i would stop him from being there, but how do i make him realize that he doesnt deserve both withouth pushing him further into her arms ?
