All of the boyfriends I have had made my spend my money on them. One thing at time and each time it costs more. Like first he want a shirt, that a watch, than a dvd/vcr, then a tv/dvd/vcr. With clothing it is ok because if I have extra money I might see something and I think "My boyfriend would like this" so I get it. But it not that often. Then he starts to ask for stuff. I say not until you give me something. But the only thing I got was mind-blowing can't walk sex. What is up with that?

I still haven't found my prince charming, even though ironically I am surrounded by them 24/7, Being in ROTC, guys from other branches are always crossing paths between mine, via activities or just walking by. I also work at the mall, so you'd think I'd meet one. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, but sometimes, it just gets frustrating hearing all the details/stories about how my friend and her man did this/that, how she met his parents, or what he bought her, what they did together…blah, blah ,blah, . So how do I deal with this? I was thinking about joining some dating site, but I don't know. I also want to wait for Mr. Right, and not rush, but sometimes, I feel like being spontaneous and trying out the sites. What do you think?

What would you do? I'm the girl, and I am not conceited. I get guys all the time, graduated with a Masters and have lots of friends. I always have a good time when I am out. And w/this guy, we always laugh and just enjoy each other's company and the sex is off the wall!! But he works such long hours, weekends, 6 days a week, 14+ hrs a day!! We are on and off, but most of the time, I think he wants space. I messed it up. I know he liked (LIKED) me a lot, introduced me to his bestfriends and his dad (when he was visiting). What do I do now? Our last talk, he said, "I am selfish, it would be wrong for me to be with you now, not fair for you and for me. I have no time for you and I wish you the best.." As stupid as this sounds, think I would have a chance to repair this for the future? My last question to him was, "Did you ever liked me?" His answer, "Yes, Gina, I did. Had you played your cards right, things would've been different.." What should I do? Can this be turned around? Help!

We were each other's 1st loves. Everything happened quickly & ended fast. It's hard to make sense of why we ended. His reasoning for ending it was vague. A few fights; we didn't know how to have a relationship outside of the college world. Together 24/7 at school & when we went home for the summer everything changed. There was never time for us. We lost a sense of ourselves.

It was our first serious relationship. Now I know how to make it work. He is everything to me. I think I lost him.

He broke my heart 15 months ago. He said no one would ever compare to me. That he could see himself marrying me after we have experienced life alone and mature. We tried to be friends, but it was too hard. We still had feelings, but he would not follow his heart. Only his logic. Now he has a new girl.

He may hate me. Think I'm immature & not confident. Should I contact him. Why did he get to break my heart & be happy with someone else? I just wanted to love him & no one compares.

I know this might be a pretty gross topic, but i've actually seen my friend go through with it. It's a boy and he likes his younger sister. He's eighteen and she's sixteen, and they're both good looking....but that's not the point. They are really close for brother and sister. I know it's wrong and he knows it. But it's like he can't help it. I wouldn't understand brother and sister relationships since i'm an only child, but still, I don't know what to tell him. He hasn't told her his feelings yet, but I know he's trying hard to deny it. He's tried going out with other girls and is even living seperately from her since their parents are divorced. From my observation, the problem with society today is the (girl > boy) bias. What i mean is, Girls have it so much easier to find "mates" than guys do. Any average girl can act or dress a little risky, and pretty much instantly, she'll get noticed by the "pack of dogs". Building up the courage to tell a girl she is beautiful or asking her to spend time with her is nothing unique, for a girl can post a pic of herself on a slap-shod Myspace website, and before you know it, she'll have 15 comments each saying how hot she is, cause any guy is gonna try to get a piece of the action if he can.
Crude way of putting it: "If a girl spreads her legs, somebody is gonna put it there"
Girls in general, especially around my age of 21, if they are at least Average in the looks dept. are gonna have guys smiling at them and treating them good no matter where they are; the gas station, school, work... Even when they aren't looking for one, a guy is going to be making offers.

There are some cuss words out there that I don't know the meaning of, and some people are shocked by how much I don't know about some things. They're like, what! You never heard about that movie? Or you don't know what that means? Or they tell me a fact of life and I go: Are You Serious!!! I mean, i don't even know what a slut is. What does it mean? Everyone seems surprised enough that I don't know what it means. But anywho, do girls like innocent guys?
