Things have to be pretty bad for kids to be taken out of the parents care and if there is abuse or neglect involved, yes eventually they can.

If you can’t take care of them maybe you should put them up for adoption though you must understand that your kids are pretty old, most people want to adopt babies to young children. One of your kids being 10 would be deemed hard to be place, and a 4 year old, would have a better shoot but its getting up there. As far as siblings separation you could request them be adopted together, I know some people are willing to take siblings in. Then again your kids could get stuck in the foster care system for the rest of their live, well at least till they turn 18.

It’s a big decision you need to discuss it with your childrens mother. The answer is no you and your wife would have to sign away your rights for them to be adopted. Unless the courts terminated your rights.

Perhaps it's best that they be adopted out, if you and their mother are unable to care for them properly.

You must think first of what's best for them--that would be the most loving, responsible thing to do. To do otherwise would be selfish. If you truly are willing to do the work of learning to be a good parent, then you should get started immediately. Social services will have classes or know of classes where you can go.

Parenting is learned from our own parent figures who sometimes weren't the best role models. Whatever deficits you have in your parenting must be overcome for the benefit of the children first and foremost.

Aside from your parenting, there are other issues that you need to work on with a professional counselor to be healthy, just like everyone else.

Why would you want them to get your kids adopted? Well for starters they would need both signatures, your and their mothers. Are you sure this is what you really want? Whats going on with their mother? Keep in mind that if someone does adopt them that they will prob get split up and not be able to see eachother. Is this the best thing for them? You need to think about this before you make any desicions. Talk it over with Social Services first.

Yes....if abuse is proved, they don't need signatures.
