I still haven't found my prince charming, even though ironically I am surrounded by them 24/7, Being in ROTC, guys from other branches are always crossing paths between mine, via activities or just walking by. I also work at the mall, so you'd think I'd meet one. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, but sometimes, it just gets frustrating hearing all the details/stories about how my friend and her man did this/that, how she met his parents, or what he bought her, what they did together…blah, blah ,blah, . So how do I deal with this? I was thinking about joining some dating site, but I don't know. I also want to wait for Mr. Right, and not rush, but sometimes, I feel like being spontaneous and trying out the sites. What do you think?

I'd prefer to date someone within the military, because I feel that it would connect us even more, since our future will revolve around the military lifestyle and we know what to expect and how to compromise etc.

It's hard when you're surrounded by men all over the place and you still can't find the right one. After being single for so long we start feeling lonely and want to look for guys wherever we can dig them up. Just be patient; instead of actively searching for someone (which is an easier way to meet guys who will take advantage of you), just go about your regular activities and you'll probably find someone where you're least expecting it.

I always find a person with this similar problem, I'm not sure why, but women always state that they never find the right guy, or that a guy never asks them out. May I suggest that you try asking a guy out? Not just any guy, but a guy you think you may like. If this does not help in anyway, I guess a dating site may help, but when you do this, you will need to be very cautious on who you become interested in, seriously.

NO DATING SITES! NO DATING SITES! NO DATING SITES! NO DATING SITES! NO DATING SITES!....
okay?
upsetting as this is, girls rarely find their prince charming if by prince charming is defined: PERFECT. like no flaws or anything like that.
he mmight look good and he might not be the brightest person around. he might be a nerd, but he's not cute. etc. something like that. you'll find again. don't get desperate though. don't start throwing yourself at some guy or else he'll think you're sleazy.

I dont suggest dating sites.. there are tons of phoneys out there! If you dont like the sound of a relationship & its procedures, then why are you even bothered by this? Just be the best you can be & the right guy will come to you soon enough or you can approach someone you like.

Dating sites are for losers and people that have giving up.Your already out in the public, stop being a prude and talk to some of them, and get to know them.If you stop running from them you'll find one.

Maybe you are not open to a possible great guy near you. You write "I also want to wait for Mr. Right, and not rush" but there are possibly many potential right ones. Are you giving them a chance? How would you know "Mr. Right" if you saw him? Food for thought...

lol you have so much future going for you.. if I were in your position the last thing i would be worried about is finding a romance just focus on what you want for yourself first then worry about prince charming.

Sometimes with too many choices, both for you, and them, it's just too confusing to stay focused on a particular gal or guy. Do yourself a favour, and after getting to know someone, or about someone, ask him out. Do it!!!!!!!!
