Hey there everyone,
Does anyone else have problems with there husbands family... Reason I am asking is because everyone on his side of the family is so competitive.. His parents only call us if they want something on the other hand his sister had the first grandbaby and they spoil him WAY to much to the point where he is 7 months old and refuse's to be left on the floor by himself for any amount of time.... We are trying to get plans together for thanksgiving dinner and everyone works different shifts and im trying to adjust at my job so that we can all be off at the same time to have thanksgiving all together (since its at my house this year) and everyone is just so moody about it and cranky and to the point where my mother in law doesnt even want to cook anything!!!!!!!!! ( She usually cooks every year) My husband just wants to cancel everything but I told him no...... This christmas we are going to be with my family out of state and he will see such a different scene!!!

I met a guy in church, not long ago and I gave him my email, but then he asked for my number cause he didn't have email...a few days he called me, and we talked, he called me almost everyday, once he came to my place, but the first thing he did was turn on the tv, then I asked him and he said it was cause he was nervous? after that he said if I wanted to go see a movie, so we went.we saw the movie and then he brought me back home, I told him to call me and he didn't say anything I think a day passed and I text messaged him, and I asked him what happened, then the next day he called, and he talked like nothing happened.My problem is that I can't say things to someone, everytime I kept sending him text messages, once when we were talking he told me that he got a girl pregnant and she ABORTED, he said she was crazy,then I was shocked, I don't remember how this came up, but he said he likes to have sex frequently, then I told him I'm saving myself for marriage!! My question is not over....

It was instant attraction when I first met him on our first date. That was 4 months ago. Whenever we're together we can't keep our hands off each other but we didn't get intimate until just about 3 weeks ago. The issue is the guy is basicly unavailable and still a mystery to me after all these months and I'm suspecting that he is a player ( of course he denies it but he calls with a private number and I still don't know where he lives) his excuse is that he is busy with work. ( according to him he is in management)
I've been trying to date other people to try and forget about him because constant waiting sucks...but everytime I'm with someone else, he is always there on my mind...and everytime when I tell him that I'm going out he seem to be afraid of loosing me and shows up right away. I don't know if he is testing me, or if I should wait for him. I know it's hard for me to move on becuase I can't forget him but at the same time it's agonizing to be waiting for him. What am I to do?

but...
its a halloween party which promises to be TONS of fun. ill be DECKED OUT in my best (UNDEAD PROM THEME)
two ladies i have things for are coming. they both know i have a thing for them unless they are a lot less perspective than ladies tend to be.
wasnt sure if its best to flirt with both and risk pissing the other one off. flirting with one of them and pissing the other one surely off. flirting with the one that flirts with me more. or flirting with each on the down low (as i think the kids are calling it :)
any ideas on how to handle this would be greatly apprciated.

I lack confidence meeeting people and would like to learn how to be more socially skilled especially in larger social gatherings such as parties. Can anyone recommend good movies in which the main character(s) excel (are highly confident) in:
a) meeting and conversing with strangers
b) being the life of the party

I've asked my wife a few times to let me see her myspace. But she won't (It's set to private). What would you do in my situation. I try to give her whatever she wants and she still seems to hate me. It's like the TV and her computer games come before me. We have 1 child and another on the way. I can't stand being treated like this anymore, I feel like crap. She can be really mean for no reason. But I've tried so hard. I don't force her to do anything she dosen't want to do, like work or clean, I don't give her all kind of crap or yell (to much). But she just wont let me see it. Ok so I work part-time in an office and there was this really hot chick with whom I used to work. Every week I would change my wall paper to some art piece and every week I she and I would interpret the art peice. We would call it our weekly art lesson. She left the company a few months back but last week she e-mailed one of my coworkers. Among other things she stated that she would like to know how I was doing and that she missed our weekly art lessons. She is really hot and I am so not hot, not fat just not hot. I've never claimed to know everything, but I'm not going to deny that I AM fairly intelligent. My g/f is studying to be a massage therapist, and I'm a college biology major. She talks to me today telling me that she knows what's wrong with my legs. (I've been having a chronic muscle tightness in my legs) I went to the doctor thinking I probably had shin splints, of which the doctor agreed and just gave me motrin. Anyway, she talks to me and tells me about homeostasis and the body's natural ability to stabilize itself and and keep it out of danger, and pain receptors, and a back up alarm system in the brain to pain, ect..of which, I've already studied. I'm a BIOLOGY major for Christ's sake, plus I used to work as an occupational therapy assistant. Plus, right now I have a cold, and I don't feel well, so I told her "I already know this stuff, can you please just get to the point"? and she went OFF on me. I'm not a know it all, it's just annoying to be told things you already know

i was with someone for 8 years of my life. i'm only 25 we got married and now we are divorcing. i'm falling in love with someone new but i'm afraid of the whole men cheating on me. i like this guy a lot and even though it's still fresh and new i can really see myself with this guy. only problem is he's known as a cheater he's even admitted to doing it himself but he says that he's changed now. i just want to be happy and wish my family would back off because they know him and say that he shouldn't be with me. what am i to do. because you really can't help who you fall in love with.

I am 24 years old and my boyfriend is 30. We have been in a semi-long distance relationship for the past two years. Yesterday he said, and I quote, "I don't know why I don't love you." I'm open to all races of women. I have luck with all of them except asian women. I'm not necessarily attracted more to them than others, but I was wondering why they won't date other minorities.

In California cities like San Jose and Los Angeles, there are nothing but minorities -- Blacks, Latinos, Asians.

In the cities, where there are all minorities, they strictly date Asian men.

In the cities with white people, I see them date either white or asian men.

Why is this? In college, I learned that asian culture is very hiearchical. Do they see white people as somehow above asians and all other minorities below asians, and that somehow affects their dating habits.

I'm trying to hook up with this girl that really lights me up. I find myself thinking about her all the time. The first time we went out she kinda was the one who asked. I had a great time and we kissed before we left. We've gove out maybe two other times and she now seems alittle stand-offish. Even when SHE asks me to go out she seems that way. I havn't thought about being "with" someone (boyfriend-girlfriend stuff) for a long time, but I think I'd really like to be more with her. Normally I just kinda date and get bored. I'm usually very smooth with my words and always able to get a number or hook up but with her I get, well, I don't know. Here's the kicker.....we work together. It's so against my code to date at work, but she made the first move. I don't know what to do. Should I leave her alone or what? I feel like she feels like she made a mistake. Thanks in advance.
