Why Do Asian Women Refuse To Date Blacks and Latinos?

Question

I'm open to all races of women. I have luck with all of them except asian women. I'm not necessarily attracted more to them than others, but I was wondering why they won't date other minorities.

In California cities like San Jose and Los Angeles, there are nothing but minorities -- Blacks, Latinos, Asians.

In the cities, where there are all minorities, they strictly date Asian men.

In the cities with white people, I see them date either white or asian men.

Why is this? In college, I learned that asian culture is very hiearchical. Do they see white people as somehow above asians and all other minorities below asians, and that somehow affects their dating habits.

I've never heard that before. Many of my friends are products of interracial marriages including asian and african american.

It's true that most Asian cultures look at the class issue to determine who is the best to marry or date (sad but true, especially really conservative parents) but to admit the truth I have seen a lot of Asians date Blacks and Hispanics, and I'm not just talking about the educated types some Asians meet in college. You are a product of your environment I guess, because I've seen Asians go out with "gangster" Blacks and Hispanics too!

To be honest I'm surprised that some Asians didn't give examples why it isn't more common to date Blacks and Hispanics versus Whites or other Asians. Growing up (being exposed to both poverty stricken Asians and wealthy ones) the one thing that comes to mind is that most kids don't want to disappoint their parents. I've have also herd of the common stereotypical remarks about Blacks and Hispanics such as:

The men are too "macho" and is not understanding and uncooperative.

They are unfairly as compared to White and Asian men who are more likely to marry a woman then get her pregnant and leave her.

The men are common women beaters (yeah like all men in the world are not prone to be abusive) etc, etc.....

So you see lots of racist comments right? I know it is rude but if you get any Asian person to admit they have herd of these remarks before, especially by the parents who are immigrants or former refugees.

I'm an Asian girl and that statement is simply untrue! I'm shocked! I DO NOT place white people above my own culture and other minorites below it! In fact, I view all cultures and races equally because I am not racist! No culture is above or below another culture, period.

And your question "Why Do Asian Women Refuse To Date Blacks and Latinos?" is simply a generalization. I know many other Asian females who have dated Black/Latino men. I'm sorry that due to your own personal experiences you have mistakenly assumed that "they won't date other minorities." Because, trust me, there are Asian women out there who do.

You seem bent on blaming the girls for not taking up with you. 'The East Asian girls are going out with the white and black guys.' 'The girls from other races refuse to date East Asian guys.' Do you really believe that you're entirely blameless for this situation? "Why are we so ugly[?]" "East Asian guys are the losers bunch." These statements are very unattractive. It shows that you are not proud of who you are (I'm betting it's because you never seem to see women going out with East Asian guys). If you believe these about yourself, it is no wonder that you don't look attractive. How could someone who believes he is a loser be attractive? Start being proud and unashamed that you're an East Asian guy who makes robots. Don't think about your race, her race. Be friendly and smile. Even the robots department has girls in it, right (however few...)?

Hey! I'm Asian! I don't mind dating other races.

I guess it's the mindset thing. My parents are way too traditional but I want to break free from that. I guess I am a very open minded person and I prefer to look for someone out of my own race. But I have to admit I think most Asians are close-minded and still traditional and are afraid to venture out of their own culture. I guess thats why they dont want to date others.

Personally, I think blacks and lantinos aren't that bad-looking or character type.

I don't know how true that is, but they I belive expect a certain type of job or etiquite, their race will disown them very quickly if they do not meet up to their high standards, why do you think they usually have good grades, nice cars, they are all about improving themselves. That is my own opinion, I am a white female, and I do know and Asian man dating a Hispanic female, she is a manager

ok ok ok you got it really messed up here. i am asian and i dont care who i will go out with but it sorta depends where they were born who they grew up around and where they greww up. most asians want their kids to date other asians. to some people i guess it seems like other minoirties just creep them out. since i live in southern ca there are a lot of latinos couple blacks and many whites. i dont mind if i like either one of them cuz i grew up in that type of area. in los angelas where there are a lot of asians, there arent many minotities so thhey arent used to them, and white people are all over and they probably think that white peple are a little highter than them because there are a lot more of them. it is just my thought about this but just give all asians a chance.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have male Black friends who said that I think and speak like white people. Most Latinos I knew at work only spoke to me if I spoke to them, so in general I don't really pay attention to them.

This is stereotypical and not completely true.

Smart Asian women want smart men who will be good husbands and fathers. Asian families are very close and want their inlaws to be close as well.

My co-worker is Asian and she's been married to a Black man for 7 years and they have 2 children.

Just this one example makes your question not true.

People make so many excuses, but in the end I think it's just racism and not wanting dark-skinned children. I've seen many people who want to be white, so they try and put themselves above other races.
