I've been married for a decade now. A church wedding. My lover and I leave with eachother for 5 years now. She wants a child and live in the states. She wants me to marry her and I also want to. We don't have divorce here in the Philippines. Can I marry her in the states? What are the requirements?

with a co-worker. This is a woman that I know in fact before he did. She is also married with 6 kids (3 are her husbands, 3 are hers). I am disgusted with them both for such immature selfish behavior. Its not just the 2 of them involved there's 12 people total. My husband moved out and I believe still talks to her though she is still at her home. Why would someone want to get involved with a woman that is responsible for 6 children? Should I tell her husband what they are doing? I know if I ever run into her its going to be ugly just like her face already is.

I have been with my husband since i was 15 (he was also 15) and now after 11 years together and a five year old son. We are 27 now and just got married this year.
See he cheated on me when we were 19 years old and i still can't get over it. It bothers me so bad and it makes me hate him. Why could he do this to me? I am not the best looking woman in the world but i am by far not the ugliest and he fooled with 2 nasty skags. I will never understand why he done it. He was my first and i love him but wheni think of how he done me i hate him. I can't forget and i can't forgive.

I want to be with him but i hate him for these things he has done to me. Would you just leave or what?

They restrict me and I can't stay out past 10:00p with my own vehicle too. I go to College and am a strong boy that doesn't like to party and drink or do drugs (I occasionally drink at home socially) and don't make trouble. If I was to disobey my parents, they would kick me to the curb, and once I'm out , I'm not allowed to ever come back. I can't even hang out with my friends after work (at the workplace) without my parents controlling my life. It seems when I find some clean and harmless fun, they "destroy" it and blame me for drinking and partying. Can you tell me what's going on? I can't even have a GF without them restricting me and making me look like a baby in front of her, I mean I'm old enough to enlist in the Army for cryin out loud...Anybody have advice? I make only minimum wage and live in a non-opportunity town and also have no nice relatives
I don't ever drive while I drink, even if its a little and when my parents offer me some alcohol, I refuse, I have good friends too

Did they teach you one thing that sticks in your mind that has made a difference in your life? My grandmother taught me to always do the best and compete with myself and not others, as someone will always be better, smarter, prettier. She told me to strive to do better everyday of my life, more than I did the day before. She told me that if I do the very, very best I can do, that was all that mattered. Not what others did in comparison to me. What teaching do you attribute to your parents?

I know this girl who i also used to like, but now it's getting clear to me that i'm only good for favors, to give her my attention. She doesn't call me like before just to say hi, but she accuses me of being the one who doesn't call and i used to do it often. She doesn't chat that often with me anymore either but when she does she said something like you owe me a treat and stuff like that. So i got annoyed and it was her birthday and i didn't say a word about it and she comes acting all sad because i didn't remember. After that we didn't talk anymore not even chatting. I think it was a good thing to get her of my back, what do you guys think ? Or should i apologize or something ? (which i might never do LOL)

I am 27 years old. I came about as the result of an affair my Mom had when my parents were having a rough time (they divorced 2 years later).

My dad has always known, yet he accepted me anyway w/o hesitation.

We have completely different personalities and physical features, so I've known all my life, but I was told at age 13.

My biological father's family, specifically his mother and brother, were in the picture when I was a child, but we stopped speaking around the time I found out.

I have no one I can talk to about this. My mother's family is non-existent (plus we're on bad terms now), and my father's family is so different, I can't relate to them, even though we get along well.

I have a very strong sense of loyalty to my dad, and I feel that connecting with my "hidden family" is a betrayal. Yet, I have a feeling that I'll learn more about who I am and finally find people like me if I do talk to them.

Can I connect to them without betraying my Dad? Should I?
