want to meet after we have only exchanged one mail. It usually begins with them leaving me a message and then I answer them and ask a few questions and they answer back and suggest meeting. I always tell them that I like to talk to a person a little before meeting. This seems to scare them away and I usually don't hear from them again. Is it unreasonable to want to talk to someone for about a week before meeting so I can ask the questions I need to ask to week out the ones I'm not looking for? I have found that the ones that I met after a couple days were a waste of my time as I found out a few minutes into the date things that I hadn't had a chance to find out about such as the fact that they had multiple divorces, were just separated instead of divorced, were overweight, or were not looking for the same things I was. If I had have had time to get to know them before meeting, it would have saved me some time. What is wrong with getting to know someone a little before meeting?

My beau is gradually becoming more and more control of me. We had a row yesterday when I refused to agree for the bathroom door to be removed. He is now demanding that I wear knee-length skirt or dress 24/7 to hide my legs from public view. I am now wearing tight and stockings 24/7 and a lockable anklet bells when I am in our flat.
I am not sure whether I can comply any further with his demand and control, I feel like breaking down soon, maybe our relationship is not working anymore. When I first met him, he was so nice and sweet, not a control freak as he is now. I still love him but what should I do?:(

If yes, why and does it cross the line sometimes?? If not, why???
Me personally, I dont get that far in a conversation with guys. Im always talking to my husband.

Don't even mention anything sexy. She's got "that time" goin on, and she won't have anything to do with it! Believe me!
My whole plan was ruined! I had a bed & breakfast suite for a night and then horseback riding in the smoky mountains on Sunday. Gone! Had to cancel. Fortunately, she didn't know about my plan. Now, I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I am in a small group with 3 other women. They have all been married for around 5 years, have 2 kids and are stay-at-home moms. During our small group, they were all discussing how they feel that their marriages are falling apart and that their husbands want to have sex with them, but they just don't want to.
I am a newly wed, so I know that I don't have the experience of being married for several years and going through a slump....but I just don't understand. It seems to me that a lot of the relationship depends on the woman’s mood. It's like that saying, "If mama's not happy, no one's happy."
So that being said, why don't women in this situation let their marriages fall apart? Why don't they take a more proactive approach? Is there anything that I can tell them or any books that I could recommend?

Well, this goes with my first question. I was just want to know if someone can do that or is insane enough to do it. I am a nanny for 2 children. One is in school most the day, he gets home at 3:00 and I am there until 5:30. I start at 7:30, the other child is home full time. Not only do I watch their child, I do all basic needs for the child (bathe them, cook for them) but I also care for their house, do their laundry, and cook dinner for them. I also sometimes grocery shop and what not. I also help with the older childs homework and drive him to and from soccer. I used to get paid 400 a week, but they siad they were having money problems and cut me to 350 a week. The thing is they both have good jobs, one works for the Big 3 in a high position,the other owns a flooring company andthey dont cut back anyplace else. like they eat out for lunch everyday, even outside of work lunches. They have talked about packing a lunch but never do. In the summer they go camping every weekend. It seems they could cut back else where. Should I ask for a raise or is my pay good? Other nannys get 10/hr in the area

morning? I find as soon as I am out of the house and on my way to my bus to New York City my blood pressure drops significantly.
When I am home I feel like "what is she going to complain about next?" As soon as I am out the door the feeling leaves me and I am actually much lessed stress out about work. Is this the sign of a marriage in trouble? Do a lot of other guys experience the same thing?
