I have asked my boyfriend the same question. I am going through that too. For instance, if I am on my cell phone, he asks who I am talking to. If I don't tell him, he will check my call log as soon as I am done. But if I ask him who he is talking to, he gets all defensive and tells me it's none of my business. We are asults, things should be equal. But as you get older you will learn it never is. As much as we fight for womens rights, men will always be above us (in their minds at least). Growing up my parents wouldn't let me work at a gas station, but it was ok for my younger brother, because he was a boy. Double standards will apply until the day you die. As much as I hate to say this... you have to get use to them.

Hey girl, that guy is plain MCP [male chauvanistic pig].
He think s he is god's gift to women or something. His attitude says a lot about him, that he doesn't respect you... and any relationship cannot go anywhere if there is no mutual respect.
If he goes to the extent of telling he loves you with all his heart and stuff then he could also use his peabrain and stop treating you like a dumn broad!

That is the age old question. Men always think they can do something but will flat lose their minds if the woman does the same thing. Stick up for yourself. If ya dont like it tell him to stop it or he will have to hook up with one of those girls cuz you'll be movin on.

I think you need to loose him and grow up then later decide to have a real relationship. You both are playing mind games with each other. I know yall are young and think you know what love really is but you don't. GROW UP FIRST

I always tell my husband this, if he can do it, then I can do it. No if, ands or buts. I tell him all the time, we may be together but I still have my own life. So do what you want. And don't forget, there needs to be trust in the relationship for it to work, so you need to trust him and he needs to start trusting you.

If you allow them to do it they will. Everything is a double standard when it comes to men and women.

Get over it...break up...life is too short to worry about what your mate MIGHT do. No trust, wasting your time. Sorry...

Yet another generalisation. You say 'men' when, in fact, you are talking about one MAN.
