i meet my friend today at his office. We are friend many years. But now we are closer. we go out ,some thing like that. I would like to be closer because he is nice. And i feel he see me nice person. But today i forgot to off my mobile. One guy he is about 65 years old , i respect him as uncle , he is nice and kind to me. I politly said to old guy that i cannot talk now. But he is not get it. He keep saying and persuate to have lunch or dinners because he come to my city, he asked and asked one same question. I was so comfortable because my mobile make loud noise. So that whoever sit near to me can hear everythings when i am talking on the phone. I worry if this friend may misunderstood that I sometime date to old guy. How can i fix it? I know i so stupid , i can stop him saying and stupid about not off my mobile when i am sit near this interesting guy. I feel he may disappoint or not i dont know . But after i hang up the phone . i feel that his happiness talking to me is ended.

i have a group of friends (5 of them) .. i only found out recently that one of them had gotten engaged and did not invite me ... i was quite upset as i tght we are quite close (we were schoolmates and tries to make effort meet once in a while). the rest did not bother to update me or anything.. i only found out from an aquaiintance when she ask why i wasnt dere...

i was thinking like when i have my engagement or wedding reception .. i will invite all 4 of them to my event... its to show that hey im not as petty as them about things.. or should i just not invite them at all

which will the "revenge" work??

or any other suggestions.
i need help thanks

how do you deal with the lack of "miracles" in your life: no one to fall in love with, not getting the job you want but you're trying as much as you can, your "friend" is only with her boyfriend, your family life's not nice, etc...

She will be turning 38. It is hard to get her anything for her home -- don't suggest pictures of us!! She is incredibly stylish so I don't want to get her clothes or jewellery. I would like to get her some kind of experience of something different. I usually spend around £50 or $100.

There is a guy at work I am attracted to that I know is also attracted to me. Over the past 2 months, he has asked me if I had a boyfriend, smiled and looked me up and down when he sees me, touches me on the arm occassionally, has asked me what I am doing over the weekend, has made some flirting/suggestive comments and just recently began sharing a little of his personal life with me without me asking. For instance, he shared with me he was taking his grandmother to the doctor so he had to take a half day off from work. He has not called me and we have had no outside work interactions. A week ago while flirting we joked that no we probably shouldn't be alone together unless of course one of us went to work somewhere else and then it would be fine. Nothing more has been said about this, though. I am confused, really, because I only get about one to two flirting signals a day but they seem to be getting more personal. Will he ever go for it?

My bf has a new job and says he is too tired after work to do anything, so we only see each other on weekends now. He is great when we're together, but weekends are not enough for me. My husband has custody and I am with his kids all the time. He gives into them all the time out of fear they will hate him. I told him that he has to give them some tough love every once in a while. Their Mother buys their love and can't afford too. Anything her kids want she buys them. Yet when they get home from the store she doesn't spend quality time with them. I am the only one that spends quality time with them AND disciplines them and it is taking a tole on me. They are becoming brats. They don't want to do their school work and they are getting bad grades. Their Dad is upset about that and then it always on his mind and he is never "in the mood". Is this normal? Do other people have this problem?

I love my fiance. but sex with him.. is at best, not painful. I dont know why. middle aged conservative man unmarried attending wedding in southern city at a baptist church - reception in the recreation area of a large park - I don't expect it to be very fancy. bride and groom in their late 20's and hip. trying not to stick out as the "old guy" and would prefer not to wear a suit. temp will be in low 70's but the two venues are polar opposite so I am a little unsure

Are second marriages apt to be more successful because presumably people have learned from earlier mistakes or are those mistakes replicated in the second marriages? If people had difficulty keeping a first marriage intact, does that necessarily mean that they lack the necessary conflict resolution skills?

My brother moved home with my parents about 4 months ago. All he does is hang around and play computer games and go to movies and go out drinking with his friends. He's 25, and has a masters in philosophy.
It doesn't seem to bother my parents, but it really bothers me, because they seem to be under the impression that he's actually looking for work. But he's just mooching.
Should it bother me this much, or should I just ignore it?

We have an adorable 8year old girl and I think I'm pregnant again. In the past I've aborted becoz I wanted my elder sister to get married first and have a family of her own.She's not met her suitable match yet and I know she craves for a child and it makes me feel guilty to have another baby while she's craving like that! I can't even give her my baby (if I decided to go ahead with this one) as I'm not sure my husband will like the idea. I'm torn between providing a sibling for my daughter and my sister's pain.
