She and I started as penpals and found that we are so much alike and understand one another. I love her so much. I can handle chatting online with her forever, but she feels weak sometimes because she needs me so much. Is it fair for her to give up on a life with no real lover, so she can be with me in cyberland?

I want to find someone who is in a similar situation. Are there any people out there like me?

My husband used to be a really nice man. Now he gets really angry about anything and everything. I know he is depressed, but he won't take his tablets. He always says that there is nothing wrong, but to act the way he does, there definetely is. Living with him is awful, but I don't know what I can do to make things better for both of us. If I didn't have my little girl, I would just kill myself as that would be an easy answer, but I feel I don't have any other options available as it is too difficult to leave him. I don't get any pleasure out of my life except internet poker and doing things with my little girl (how sad is that?). I haven't had sex for months and my husband won't go out and do things like a normal family. I am depressed too (I take prozac) so I know how he feels (to a point), but I really can't go on like this. Please tell me what I can do.

After telling my best friend I'm in love with him and getting (politely) turned down, we are still the closest of friends.

At first I was just glad that he wasn't completely freaked out and horrified. The fact that he wanted to remain close friends was more than I could ever have hoped for. It was a huge gamble, after all.

The problem is, as we continue to spend most of our time together, I'm finding it increasingly painful to cope with the fact that he doesn't return my feelings. I value his friendship so highly- but, the fact is, I am in love with him and it's hurting me a great deal to be around him and have the rejection reinforced on a daily basis.

So I have been trying to ration my time with him. But the problem is that hurts too. So, should I just continue to be a good friend to him and learn to cope with the pain?

there's this guy who i really like n he really likes me. we havent seen each other n like a month, so we went out last night. we went back 2 his place n started makin out. then he said he thought we were moving 2 fast. so i asked him y he thought that n he said we shouldnt be doing that cus we hadnt seen each other in a while. so we talked for a lil bit, n things got heated n we went 2 the bedroom. u know what happened, so in the middle of it, he just looked @ me n said he couldnt keep going cus he felt bad. i asked him y n he said he felt like he was taking advantage of me cus this was the 1st time we saw each other in a lil over a month n here we were doing it. so he said he couldnt do that 2 me n next time we meet will be better. what did he really mean? i told him i was ready tho, but he was upset 4 the rest of the night about it. he just kept saying he felt bad cus we barely talked and started having sex. whats going on?

me and my girl had a better relationship when i was with another women and i would cheat on that girl to be with my current girl...but now that we are together and going to be married it isnt as good as it was then...and she is always thinking that i am cheating on her now or will...just because i did it before....

My parents only allow me to hang out with my friends twice a month and i don't think that's fair! On weekdays they take my cell phone and close the home phone so i can't talk to anyone and i have to study all day! So what can i do to stay in touch with friends and not loose them? I'm in a open, long distant relatiohship, with a man who's 40 years old and I'm 22, but we get on really well. When I travelled to see him last weekend, he told me that he really really liked me, and to my surprise, said "you know how you want to get married in ten years, well I want to get married in the next two years", so it crossed my mind that he might want something more serious. Anyways, when I'm with him, things are great, but when i'm home, I have to take the initiative to call him, he doesn't call me for like 4/5days in a row, I can't figure out if he does really like me and playing hard to get or should i just accept that i'm nothing more than long-distant booty-call.....?

About 3 months I left my ex and when I finally decided to come and get my things that I had left behind I had a terrible accident in which my vehicle was considered a loss and so I stayed in town. Now it's very hard for me to go back. He is just flat out an a*shole and has been for 10yrs. A few days ago he said he was going to kill me because he didn't like one of my awnsers on here, and he even slapped me across the face twice. This isn't anything new to me, I am used to him flying of the handle about stupid things. I told him I have had enough, I can not take the mental and physcial abuse anymore, I told him the only way I am staying is if he gets conuseling and goes to the doctor and talks to him about medicine to control his anger problem. I'm not saying he beats the crape out of me daily, but in our eight yr. marriage he has probauly hit me at least 10 to 15 times. Some worse than the others. My question is do you think if he does go to conseling and the doctor is it possiable for him to change? Or should I just start finding away to get out. It will take time for me to get out because I am a stay at home mom, he makes most of the money in our house.
