My parents only allow me to hang out with my friends twice a month and i don't think that's fair! On weekdays they take my cell phone and close the home phone so i can't talk to anyone and i have to study all day! So what can i do to stay in touch with friends and not loose them? And i've got alot of friends!

You could write letters, email, [call them!].... or just hang out with them whenever you have time.
Besides, think about it, not all of your "friends" are worth hanging around... choose the one really means something for you and try as hard as you can to not loose touch.
Don't you go to school??? you may talk to them there, you keep in touch with them there....
If not, try to get your parents to understand how important SOCIALIZING is for you and everybody else.

I do not know how old you are so it is hard to answer your question, but I will try.
You are on the Internet so can you email them or join a community that helps you keep in touch with people such as myspace or Yahoo 360. There are many communities out there and I am sure if you search you can find one that is age appropriate for you. Your friends could join the same community as you and that is a great way to keep in touch.
Have you discussed your concerns with your parents. That would be a good place to start if you have that kind of open dialogue in your home. Remember compromise can be a good thing for you.
When you are hanging out with your friends twice a month try to think of things to do that are meaningful and that will create wonderful memories later on in your life.
Also, if you loose friends because your parents won't let you hang with them, they are not real friends. Real friends accept you for who you are. They become closer when they are away from you. :)

I am a parent my self and I understand what your parents are trying to do. What you need to ask your parents is why they are limiting you to such extend. If it is because they feel that your grades needs to be improved, negotiate with them more time for better grades. In the mean time tell your friends that if you are unable to contact them more often, it is out of your control. If they are really your friend they will understand.
