be careful
with this to model say cloths in a catalogue is OK but its as they get older in the business .
you need to think hard is it the money that would come in handy or your daughters future you may be changing.
i suggest if you do decide to i suggest you call the shots
not the company.
only keep her under the spot lite for a few years .
max
the way the industry is manipulate youngsters is scary so be careful many pit falls
but said all that if you get a good company that sympathetic and have all the time for kids and cater well for them then go with it put remember

PS try to speak to other parents that do it

contact the catalogue companies they will give you the right people to contact
boots HQ
Kay's
Freeman's
m&s hq
ect

Think very carefully before putting your child through what could be a very stressful experience. My niece did do some child modelling - just photographs for catalogues and that turned out fine and she did not carry on as she grew up - it did provide a little nest egg though. Try a reputable photographer, have a chat with them and see if they have any ideas where you could show the photographs.

First off is this what she wants? And if so does she know what this means? She may be six but she still needs a say in what she wants to do or doesnt want to!!! No I am not saying that if she dont want to listen or something like that then she aint got to but this is a pretty big step for her and is a lot of work!!!! Most of her play time and things are being gave up for this!!!

Goodness do you not read the papers or listen to the news. Even if you find an O.K. agency how do you like the idea of a child predator ogling and fantasising while looking at your beautiful daughter.
In other words dont do it.

i would be very careful of some places i all most made a big mistake over my son everyone said the same to me he should be a child model so me and my husband looked in to it......just two weeks before my son went to an agency we found out they were ripping people off big time......taking your money and giving you no work we were lucky i will never do anything like it again so if you really want to get your child in to it please be-careful to many dodge ones out there...
good luck you will need it

It's probably just me but I can't stand seeing those kids doing that kind of stuff. I mean, I guess if she's having fun doing it and there's no pressure, that would be okay but it looks cheap and forced and fake. Why not try and audition her for movies or plays or something useful?

do you really have to put your daughter through this becaue of what other people have told you. your daughter is of course beautiful, aren't all children? but to put them into such a nasty industry at such an impressionable age is madness, harness her childhood before it disappears naturally without being forced to mature immediatly. if she chooses to model at 16/18 then its her choice and she will be more certain of herself and what she wants to do.

Don`t let "monkey Harris" see this question. He will go ape sh*t. He hates anything to do with child exploitation. Plus he will fill up your inbox!
