That is totally wrong! Thats the easy way out. And if he dumped you... Dont take him back! He dumped you for a reason.. And when he comes back to you, That reason will still be there.. and its not going to go away, which means that he could dump you again. Which means heartbreak but Im sure you already know that! Go make some new friends and maybe hit the clubs! Dance Dance! Best wishes!

Depends on the situation. Sometimes it's better to do it over the phone, and other times, it's not. When it was a really bad relationship, sometimes the phone is the right way to go because things can get ugly in those situations.

The worst way to leave them is to just up and leave and not even care how hurt the other person is- like you never gave a damn about them to begin with.

Wrong ... you should do it face to face unless you live miles apart. People who do it on the phone, text or email are copouts and there is usually a reason for this, they could be lying cheating scumbags, taking advice from their friends as a quick, easy way of doing it or cant cope with the other persons reactions to the news of being dumped.

hey that sucks, sorry to hear it.

i got dumped by text msg once. that wasn't nice at all.

all this stuff is balls, im certain theres been some fatal flaw in the creation of the world. its final proof that either God does not exist, or if He does, He's a really mean git.

go get really drunk girl, like you've never been drunk before. then scream at random people for no particular reason. do this for ten to twelve years.

it wont help with the pain, believe me - i know. what it will do, however, is allow time to pass almost without you realising.

I was dumped by phone once too.....
In a way I was pleased(after it happened) coz he didn't get to see how hurt I was.....
The next time we saw each other (we had the same group of mates) i just said 'hi' in a dead casual way, as I was very casual, yet friendly all nite, he was 'gagging'..... He ended up all over me and when he asumed that to come home with me at the end of the end.... He got a taste of his own medicine when I laughed at him and said 'I don't think so....' he looked a right idiot in front of everyone...

if u guys talked and he told u y he was dumping u, i dont see it as being bad. people do that because they cant stand to see the face of the person they're hurting while they're hurting them. it just makes it REALL awkward. but if it was like a random text msg or just a random thing all together, then yeah, it was wrong. so it depends on how it was done to determine whether it was right or wrong.

It is wrong. You deserve the respect to at least have him talk to you face-to-face. Although, if he wasn't mature enough to do that, maybe he wasn't mature enough to be in a relationship in the first place.

Being dumped sucks. I recommend the book "Its Called A Breakup Because Its Broken" By Greg Behrendt. Its amazing.
