Hello my name is Trevor and I was curious to what you girls thoughts are on why some people are afraid of me just because I am a serious person. Because that is all it is because I am genuinaly a nice guy but can be to serious for my age which is 24. so my question is what is the reason people think I am scarry. Another question is would girls my age go out with someone that is a serious but nice guy because I have wondered if that is why I have not had a girl friend yet. please help thank you.

I feel like a total tool asking this, but I figure it's worth a shot. Okay, so these two girls come up to me during lunch, let's call them J and K. I've known these two for a while now and they're both more popular than I am, but they've always been perfectly friendly. Anyway, we start talking for a while, K seems particuarly interested in the conversation. Eventually, towards the end, K asks if I want to contribute to the yearbook. We exchange e-mails. Now, I may be reading too much into this, but is K trying to tell me something? Homecoming is coming up, so I think it's a possibility. Please answer!

i have this one friend who, whenever we plan to do stuff, she always stands me up. we always have a good time when we're together...but then every once in a while, we'll be planning to do something, and then right before we go to do it she'll be like 'i'm sooooorrry, but my other friends invited me to do this other thing'. i think she has a problem saying no to people, but when it comes to her other friends versus me, she always picks them!

we always have fun when we're together (whenever we do actually do stuff), so i don't understand why she stands me up sometimes!

like now, for instance. earlier this week we had planned to go out to dinner tonight, but i called her today and she never called me back! so i guess we're not going to dinner....why does she do this???

Why do people absolutely freak out when they find out one of their friends is gay? It's like it is some sort of deadly infectious disease people are afraid of catching. Instead of telling me it is because it is a sin maybe people should be more worried about their own morality than someone elses.

My partner of nearly 3 years and I have been arguing alot lately. I think the things we argue over are small things, yet she is blowing these little molehills into HUGE mountains. I try to approach her gently, use a soft firm voice, never yell, dont curse etc. She raises her voice, yells at me, curses, and makes me feel generally like a giant turd. I have tried talking to her about this and all she does is get hostile and fight. She has turned the 'cold shoulder' on me for about 2-3 weeks now. I just dont know what to do- things werent always like this. What should I do, and how long should I beat this horse b4 its actually dead? *sigh*

Sorry if the title sounded rude. But I have this friend thats a guy and I'm in love him. But, I dont think he likes me back. We always see eatchouther at school and he might come over my house next weekend, and we always laugh and have fun together. We have alot in common. BUT a couple months ago he told me the person he liked and kept going on about it. That really hurt me. And he knows I like him! He doesnt know I love him though. I've loved him for 1 year and 4 months now. I'm almost 14, but I know not to through the word love around. I always think about him and everything. WHY CAN"T HE JUST TRY TO SEE THAT I'M GREAT FOR HIM?! Does he like me know? I don't want to talk about it with him. And I never ask anyone out. Should I try to get over him...again? HELP!!

My brother and his wife have been married for almost 3 years. They dated about 2 months before marrying and getting pregnant. They now have two children. My brother does everything for her. He works a full time job (so that she can stay home and her mother can live with them), takes care of all the housework and takes care of the children. He takes care of the yardwork and makes sure the bills are paid and on top of all, rubs her feet on a regular basis. He has recently brought up to her that he wants to have sex as much as they did when they first met. She came back and said that she would do that if he would romance her more. He doesn't know what more he can do for her as money is tight for them as he lets her spend at will. He's also pushed to the limit for time as he does everything for her. They have talked about the division of work, but she only does a little for a few days and then goes back to doing nothing. What do I tell him? Romance her more or put his foot down?

I dated a guy for about 2 yrs and was physically abused for about 18 months. Its been about 6 mo now since we broke up. I haven't seen him in 4 mo becuase he moved to his Dad's house in AL (long story). After we broke up we still talked on the phone like usual and had sex til he moved. Its been 4 months since I last spoke to him, I finally said **** it and over 2 days I had 326 missed calls from him. That was the last time he tried to contact me. I went thru a time when I hated him and didn't even want to think of him existing. But recently he has been the only thing on my mind. It's true some of the time I went through hell with him, but other days were best experiences of my life. I want to call him and just see what he's up to, if his transition went smoothly. What should I do? Can abusive guys change for the better? Im not trying to get back with him, just be friends unless he seriously changes. I know he still thinks about me cuz his AIM password is still my name+anniversary date.

I've been with my boyfriend for 11 months now. i love him soooo much. with out him i have no life and he feels EXACTLY the same way as me. We are both 21. He is Mexican/Catholic I'm Armenian/Chrisitan. Even though we come from different backgrounds we get along so well. I know he is my soul mate. I never believed in soul mates until i met him. Today, at work, my coworker came up to me and said we need to talk about you and your boyfriend. I'm like whats wrong w/ us? shes like you come from a different back ground, you come from a high class family, you are going to school to earn your bachelors and you have a great future ahead of u. Why you with a mexican when he comes from a poor family, your families are different, he doesnt go to school, and barely works. Then I said b/c I love him, i trust him, he is working very hard to find a job and applies to jobs every day, even though he doesnt attend school. he cares for me, respects me.

My fiancee and I have every household item imaginable between us. We've just put a deposit on a place and would love to have help with the downpayment so we thought it would be more appropriate for us to ask for money instead of gifts since we don't need anything material. What is is the most tactful way to word it or spread the word?

Does he have to divorce her or something? He mentioned something about this, and I was just wondering. Or does he just have to bring her death certificate when we go to get our license? Does he have to do that even? Just wondering.
