I am not worried about it.
I'd rather not even discuss it much.
Bodily functions and conversation generally don't go together.

My friend, you hit the nail straight on the head. That sort of attitude is a prolific, sad fact of life in America. I think it all stems from religious fanatics. Supposedly the bible says being gay is wrong, so it gives people a sense of moral satisfaction to thump that bible and not only preach their belief, but to sway as many people over to their way of thinking as well. Its like a crusade or something to them.
Most of this backward, bigoted attitude also comes from the religious right and other Conservatives. It is a real sickness because if its not gays, then its lesbians, or transgendered, or abortion, or prayer in school, or ten commandments in government buildings, or something. Its always something.
I am so thankful, however, that our forefathers had the sense of mind to guarantee us separation of church and state or gays would be burned at the stake in the name of god or something.
You know, the funny thing is that I'm not even gay, but I very strongly support their rights and way of life.

Why are people so worried about other peeps sexuality?
Because they obviously have alot of free time to obsess about what other people are doing.
No matter what, people will be judgemental. Everyone is in some way (come on, who hasn't seen a terrible outfit on someone and made a snide comment?). I like to believe though, for the most part, the younger generation is growing up to learn that people are wonderfully diverse and it's not only okay...it's the way it should be.

That depends. I think we're a bit more enlightened these days. The ones who are calling it a "sin" fall into a different category, because they are obviously religious. If I'm not mistaken, most religions believe that homosexuals will go to Hell. Consequently, if they are really your friends, then wouldn't it be understandable that they'd want to spare you that fate? I hope my friends would, otherwise I'd have to question their friendship. Perhaps, as you want them to see things from your point of view, maybe you should also try to see it from theirs.

Who cares what 2 or 3 or maybe 4 do in the bedroom? I don't give a crap! As long as they are decent humans that pay their taxes and don't go around murdering people and molesting children...hey I don't care! It's about being good people and sex in the bedroom...hey I don't give a f*ck..happy f*cking behind close doors!

Because they are unsure of there own sexuality so in a attempt to convince them selfs thay are straight they take a strong harsh stance on there opinion of gays... Think about it. If u r straight and you no it why would u care what someone else is?...

I think because of fear of change, personal insecurities...who knows....but it doesn't really matter, if you're happy with the path you've chosen, that's what matters....not what other people think. Personally, I have noticed that gay people, men and women alike make much better, much more trustworthy friends. Live your life for you.
"I would rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am NOT!" .............I don't know who said that, but it's something to think about.

I have never understood this.
Unless I want to have a relationship with you, or you want to have one with me, why should I care?
If another woman asked me out (I'm straight), I'd simply say, "No thanks, but what a lovely compliment!" just as I would if a man I didn't want to go out with had asked.
Why all the hysteria??
This Q didn't make me think you were gay. How the heck am I supposed to know?

True true, my friend. Unfortunately, people are scared of change and anything different from their comfy little lives. It's unfortunate that people can't be treated exually no matter what. Good point though.
