My ex-girlfriend is my best friend, and we still love eachother, but we also know it can't work at the moment, so we are content with being friends. The problem is that she has been pretty much ignoring me, i ask her about it and she doesn't seem to understand what i am talking about, and since we are just gonna be friends for now we try not to show the other the type of emotion or attention that may be considered to be more than friendly. She seems to think i am doing just that, problem being that i treat just like i do the rest of my friends, but because she thinks i am trying to be more still instead of backing off like we agreed, she is getting mad at me and ignoring me, she says we are friends but she don't hang around with me and when she does she acts like its a burden to her, like she shouldn't, and its hard to watch her walk around with her other friends and talk and laugh and carry on like lifes great and completly ignore me, i don't even know how to react anymore, help pls

My husband and I are arguing over my insecurities. He told me this weekend that if things don't change our marriage is not going to last. All he wants is for me to trust him. I am always thinking the worst. If he doesn't answer his phone I automatically think about another woman. If he's gone somewhere and I am at home I start thinking all these thoughts! I know it's me obsessing but I can't seem to make my head shut up. He has never done anything to make me feel this way. I know this comes from past relationships, being hurt and cheated on. I know that he is not like that. He tells me, "I married you, I love you, why can't you get that through your head". I know he loves me and I know he wouldn't cheat on me. All he does is work and come home!! It's like my heart says one thing and my head says another. I am going to loose him if I don't quit letting my insecurites rule me! What can I do to trust my husband?

Do married men look at other women the same way they look at their spouse? if they only look at the same type of women that are the opposite of their spouse. Why is this done by the men?

A very good friend of mine was in a VERY serious relationship up until a year ago, when her guy broke the relationship off, and left her heart in pieces. She was in a deep depression for awhile, but then decided she wasn't going to let this guy get her down. She went back into the dating scene - problem is, she is now having a very tough time finding anyone. From my observations, and from what she tells me.... They all just end up using her, saying they only want to be friends, or altogether don't call her back. She is confused to why this is. But - I've seen firsthand why this might be! She meets a guy, keeps calling and calling, texts non-stop, and is extremely over-bearing. It without a doubt would make most men run for the nearest exit, in my opinion. Now to my question - Should I offer my thoughts on this to her? Should I tell her that this over-bearing activity could be scaring men away? And if so, how do you say it in a nice way without insulting her?

my boyfriend and i have been going out for about 3 weeks. we see eachother almost every day. even if we don't actually hang out we at least see eachother. like there are the days that we just call eachother and leave it at that, but as often as possible we see eachother. now this is all new to me because i have been single for nine months and before that i was in a two year relationship with a guy i only saw like once a week. i love spending time with my bf and he loves spending time with me, but are we overdoing it? neither one of us has any trouble spending time apart. we are having sex but not very often. the sex is good we just don't feel we have to **** like stoned test bunnies all the time. sometimes we just cuddle and watch a movie or go for a drive. but sometimes i do want my alone time, but at the same time i want to be with him. as long as none of us feel crowded we should be okay? right?

He's perfect for me, but I just don't want to talk to him. I avoid his calls, and I never call him anymore. Why am I doing this? Please help me figure out what the problem is! I don't want to ruin an incredibly good thing!

This is a serious question, so please, ONLY serious answers.
Thanks in advance...

Set aside the women's rights issues and the civil rights movements, and other special interest groups, families consisted of married couples that stayed together, women who put their homes and families first, and men who provided for their families. Sure there were so bad ones , but it was not the norm as it is today to have children out of wedlock, broken marriages, etc. The streets were safer, women were respected more, schools were better, etc. I would trade all the modern technology of today to live in a safe, family oriented world of decent people.

I have a very close friend who compains about her boyfriend a lot and she has every right too. The problem is that she bitches about him but at the same time justifies him. He is lazy, uninvolved, a pot head, and whines like a baby. She hates it yet she makes excuses why he's that way. How can I help her without loosing her? She has asked for my advice on numerous occasions.

We dated for 2 days then he broke up with me. Then a couple of weeks later he asked me out again. I turned him down. Then he found out I like his brother and twice he called me a slut for that. He always hangs around my block. Today he smiled as soon as he saw me. I totally don't understand him.

I've been in a long distance relationship for 4 months. This girl flies down, or I fly up, once per month to see each other, and spend about 3 days together. I'm in love with her. She's everything I've always wanted. She's in love with me even more. But I've never been single before, and I think I want to be. I have a strong urge to be single and let loose for awhile. And also a strong urge to be with her. She even said she's willing to move town, just to be near me. What the hell do I do? I'm drawn between both urges!
