I've been in a long distance relationship for 4 months. This girl flies down, or I fly up, once per month to see each other, and spend about 3 days together. I'm in love with her. She's everything I've always wanted. She's in love with me even more. But I've never been single before, and I think I want to be. I have a strong urge to be single and let loose for awhile. And also a strong urge to be with her. She even said she's willing to move town, just to be near me. What the hell do I do? I'm drawn between both urges!

i think it would be better if you talk to her & let her know about this..it would be better than being with her but still thinking about the other urge that you have..if she really loves you, she would understand why you guys need to have space for a while..having space could possibly make you guys realize if you really wanna be with other or not..good luck..Ü

There's different ways to look at this - If you decide to stay, you could possibly become bitter later on down the road, and wonder 'What If'? And believe me, that will cause alot of issues within your relationship, if not end it! Keep in mind this is one reason why alot of people eventually end up cheating in their relationships. But on the other hand, one thing to remember is we're all human, and MOST intelligent people do consider both sides of the issue. In my opinion, it's wise for you to look at the pros and cons versus chancing everything. Good Luck.

i think you should stay. I get the feeling that you know she is the one and it is scaring the crap out of you. As for her moving to town, maybe you should first start spending more time together, to make sure you are compatible. Three day's together isn't going to tell. well good luck.

You should stay and see how it goes.
If you're in love with her and she's in love with you, what's the matter?
Long distance relationships are hard. Maybe you can try and have her move down to your town?
I know i'd try be with her as much as possible if i was in love with someone.

show her this letter, or tell her the truth about your feelings. if you can't be honest with her, it will be unfair to the both of you. the relationship you two have together will be marred by your underlying need to " sew your oats". you will eventually come to resent her and she won't even know why. don't let her uproot her life to be with you without telling her the score first.

In my situation, she just moved up here and lives with me. What a disaster....it was great to have the distance, which gave me freedom, but now that she's here....ughhhh.

Just asking this question should tell you the answer.....you're NOT ready to settle down yet. Tell her ASAP so she can make decisions about her own future. It's only fair to her and to yourself. Good Luck!
