this seems to be the latest taboo. and an issue that is personally effecting me as an indian girl in a very serious relationship with a black guy. i dont know if i can come with all the issues it would arise from everyone. even my own generation (i'm in my 20s- ) clearly has issues with it. id ont know if i can put my parents through the rejection they would feel from their own community . i dont want to play out a romeo and juliet story but in any other circumstance i would not think twice of this guy being my future husband. and i still do to an extent. but the people who say 'its your life' clearly arents asian and these family pressures have been embedded into me since the day i was born. i know that doesnt justify other peoples stereotypes but its not a simple choice. i know what i believe ethically and morally but should i use my own life as a gunieapig for the progression of broken racial boundaries?

i am 28 years old and i have four children, i am just finding it so hard to keep up with everything! i keep the house fairly tidy, and i cook a decent meal every night etc.My kids are SERIOUSLY messy and i am struggling to keep up with all the normal chores as well as tidying up after my little angels!
Whenever i go visit anyone elses house it always looks immaculate! I am getting so worked up!

When I met my boyfriend, he was separated from his wife after 16 years. He was going through medical care, so he stayed near the hospital, with his stuff at the house. He really liked me, but ended up going home a couple of times to try to work things out with his exwife and I let him.

A year later, he finally has an apartment and has asked me to move in with him when my lease is up. I am in love with him but I don't know what to expect.

His name is still on the house deed, so he does his own repairs to save money. He also has stuff there that he can not take to the apartment. He enjoys tinkering with things and wants to go to the house to work in the garage.

He also has a daughter who he tries to see 4 days a week. The problem I have, is that he goes to the house to take care of his stuff and the daughter when his ex wife is there. I don't want to get in between him and his daughter but this makes me uncomfortable.

What should I expect if I move in with him?

I dated this really nice guy for a week everything went really well and sweet he seemed really keen. Then he dumped me out of the blue at the end of the week via text message. Text message says this. "I'm in love with another girl that I can't get, she lives overseas and you two are very much alike. I thought going out with you will get my mind off her but it didn't. Sorry to have fooled around and messed you up. Will call you when I'm more focused and have my priorities straight."

Like whatever... I didn't bother to retaliating to his pathetic message.
