Yes, it does work! But both parties involved have to be willing for it to work..It saved mine and my hubby's marriage..We are stronger now then we have ever been! Good Luck!!

It can work. But! Most of the time when both parties agree to Marriage counseling it can already be to late.

If you both want to save your marriage then it is well worth the try. If not then I am sorry to say it wont.

You see. If one wants a divorce then they will never change their mind. Most likely another is in the picture and that makes it impossible.

It can, if both parties are equally in agreement that something needs to be done to save the relationship. The problem is however, usually it is the one that is more right, that wants the counseling, and the other just goes along with it to appease that person. In those cases it might work, but usually only temporarily.

NO! It's the blind leading the blind. Quite often, they don't have successful marriages themselves, but think that they know a lot and can help others because they have degrees hanging on the walls. They might not believe that they even have to be good examples, themselves.

They won't tell you what you need to here, and they approach problems that have to do with spritual failings and selfhishness with psychology. That does not work. They will not put the blame where it belongs, nor will they call either party a selfish pig who is paying their bill.

Child counselors and psychologists are the same way. Most of the time, apparent benefits are temporary and illusory.

It can definitely work but requires the hard work and committment of both people. If only one wants to work on the marriage, it probably won't work. If one is already involved with a new person, it is going to be much more difficult.

It works if you both want it too. Marriage is work and having someone like a counselor giving you advice about how to work on it helps, but you both have to want it and you have to listen on the tactics they give to you and do them to make it work together.
