What is the best way to get a girl friend?

I am a 25yo female. At the age of 17 I began counseling for sexual abuse I faced from the age of 4 or 5 to this age. My counselor was married and a well-respected pastor. Around the age of 18-19, our relationship became very emotionally involved as well as sexual and he and his wife moved to the town I was going to college in. I respected his wife and felt horrible for what was going on, though when I tried to discuss this with him, he was adament that this wasnt wrong nor was it adultery(she didn't know what was happening). Finally at the age of about 22 I graduated and moved away and ended things with him. I wrote him a letter telling him that our relationship was wrong and unhealthy &that I would not talk to him anymore. My question...now that it has been 3 years, I want to talk long distance with he & his wife to let them know how things are going as they knew the depths of how bad things were, had done alot for me & really cared despite the sick relationship. Is this a bad idea?

I know not all girls think the same way, but there is defitenely a pattern and I would like to ask for your help.

I met this girl at a friend's house, a few weeks ago, and I would like to understand what was her first impression of me.

Scenario:
My friends had a few drinks in them, and were being as loud and roudy as any college student during a football game. They were yelling and screaming and their girlfriends were following along. At some point the conversation became about us, the girl and I, hooking up. As usual, I just smiled but didn't make any comments. However, I did ask her some questions, and tried to initiate a conversation, and I could tell she was expecting me to hit on her. That I didn't do, and I just kept the conversation formal.

My friends on the other hand, were cursing and making jokes about dildos and sex. Also, they offered me beer, which I refused since I don't drink. From then on, my host did most of the conversation. She left a few hours later.

Prtend you're me. you're in school when the guy you love walks by and stops at his locker. Then, your so-called "friend" goes up to him and kisses him on the cheek (yes, i know it could be worse but remember, friend, love of your life, she kisses him!) you know she knows you like him and afterwards she comes up to your locker and smiles at you with that fake bitchy smile, and starts talking to you. after she starts to walk away, what do you do? he's still standing there with both a disgusted, and surprised look on his face. what do you do? how do you handle the situation?

It sounded like he was making out with another women. Some of it I could understand clearly and some of it I couldnt. Is there anyway I can have this message slowed down so that I can maybe figure out what might be going on. I really need to know if he is cheating on me. Just wanted your opinion..

My wife & I went through a painful divorce that she insisted on, and been seperated since March. We havent contacted since the divorce in June, as I was extremly angry & preferred not to have contact.

Recently I called her dad asking him to return money he owes me, & hes asking me to wait some more, while I have no time since Im leaving town. We argued on the phone, & I told him how ungrateful he was for all favours Ive done since the day I met his daughter, & he was just worried I might cause a problem regarding the money.

The very next day ex wife calls me. She said she called coz she heard I was leaving town, & wanted to wish me good luck. She was talking nicely and sounded sweet, & we kept talking for almost 1/2 hour. She mentioned problem regarding her work computer, & I offered to come over and repair it, & she agreed.

Is she acting like this coz her dad maybe asked her to so that I can stay off his back for sometime? Or is there any other meaning?

Ive been with this guy for 1 1/2 years, when we first got together we talked about everything, he looked at me like I was the most beautiful girl in the world, then about 5 months after living together I'd catch him looking at other girls while we were out to dinner or what not. Right in front of me. Now he wont talk to me, I tell him we need to talk, he says no I am not talking, But he tells me he still loves me and wants to be with me. We still have sex, but he doesn't seem to want to please me anymore. He ignores me and always wants to do things with his family and not me. He is a truck driver and gone all week. This is his first relationship ever. I am 2500+ miles away from anyone I know, I am so depressed and loneley. Does he still love me? My husband and I had a fight. When he tried to leave I tried to stop him physically. He left anyway and moved back with his parents. We have a little gir that is 16 months old. He wants a divorce because I had done it in the past. I am now getting help with my problems and he said that it is to late. I really do love him and I don't want to loose him. We have talked and he told me that he doesn't love me anymore. I don't think that he has though. How can I make him see that I am changing not just for him but for me. He wont try marriage counseling because he has given me too many chances already. Is there anything else I could do? Please help me any advice would help. I am completely lost without him.

I'm a pretty shy girl. Actually, a really shy girl. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to start a conversation with a guy that you dont really know that well. I see this kid pretty much every day, and he seems really sweet and fun, but I'm so incredibly shy that I would never find a way to talk to him, unless I was in a big group (which I doubt would happen). Theres this girl that definitely showed interest in me last year just before summer break. Its ma grade 10 year now, and we hav no classes the same in semester 1 since i majorly screwed up and chose some aert class over gym. Anyways, we see each other in the halls n stuff but dont really get to talk. In grade 9 last year, we were really close and she even popped in an i love you type of casuallity in her saying this. I was conmfused since she says and acts like this to all her "friends" that she has known for the last couple of years at her high school. I made the assumption that she thought of me as more of a friend, but during the summer she woldnt even see me or anything since she always said her parents were overprotective n stuff.
Anyways, i jus want to know if we r more than friends

The problem is, she does all this "dont worry i love you" and good friend stuff to all her friends she has known for a long time.
