The daughter is not his biological daughter but calls him Dad because he has been in her life, well, live in the same house, for 10 of the 16 yrs. she has been on this earth. She got her first official job 5 months ago but before that made her own money from time to time doing braids (from $10 to $60). He has never bought her much, and certaintly doesn't now since she works. But now he borrows from her and she had a hard time getting her money back-sometimes she doesn't get it back at all! When I tell him that #1 he shouldn't borrow from her just so he can have a blunt, and that he should be giving her not taking from her, he tells me that she is suppose to give him if he ask if he doesn't have! I tell him he has it backwards - she is not suppose to, he is suppose to - he's dad- and she is still a minor in school! I ask him doesn't he feel guilty for not giving her her money back when she is broke and he has money in is pocket? What do you think of this man/dad with this attitude?

Why do so many people divorce? I don't think that should ever be an option!!! That's what counseling is for, marriage is a sacred union and I can't believe so many people break it!

He lives in a different town about 30 mins away and currently cannot drive due to a DUI. So everyday ive been driving to see him hes not the richest guy in the world and its like hes kinda struggling to make ends meet. Hes a sweet guy and i like him but theres another guy now thats trying to talk to me and we've been friends for awhile but im thinking there might be something more there and he thinks it too, my question is what should i do? The fact that guy #1 doesnt have money doesnt bother me at all, if i care about someone i care about them rich or poor, cute or not. But the other guy is going to college working hard and is really going to make something of himself. Im kinda torn because i like both of these guys but i dont really know what to do any suggestions of helping me figure out who i should be with? Thank you for the serious answers i get.

i have a 4 week old baby and on saturday night my fiancee went out to celebrate his birthday with his mates, he didn't come home until 2.30pm on sunday, he didnt ring or ext to let me know he wasn't coming in and I laid awake worrying all night, he text me at 7am to say he was crashing at his mates, when he returned home his excuse was that his mate had been arrested for drink driving so he couldnt leave his house as he wouldnt have been able to get in, also he had used drugs which is something we always argue about, so he hadnt wanted to come in and upset me. I feel really upset as i'm not sure i trust him...was he with someone else etc? his story doesnt seem to all add up, i feel i shouldnt be sat in the house looking after his baby while he's staying out all night. can anyone tell me if i'm being unfair, or whether i'm just being a doormat....and either way what dhould I do?! sorry to rattle on but i'm so confuzzled. thankies so much. xXx

I had a very strange dream last night and I just don't know how to deconstruct it so that I have some ideas as to what it could mean. First of all, for some reason snakes often appear in my dreams. I really really cannot stand snakes...I can't even see them on TV. Last night in my dream I saw a massive snake (python) in my backyard. I was really scared. I called animal control so that they could pick it up. They did but for some reason they left it on the street. I decided to leave and hopefully it would be gone by the time I came back home. When I did get back, the door to my house was open and the snake was halfway inside my house. I went up to my door to see and my cat had half of it in it's mouth. My cat had eaten the snake and only the tip of the tail was hanging from my cat's mouth. I could see the snakes mouth opening and closing from the cat's belly. It was a disturbing sight. Does anyone have an idea as to what this means?

He says it isn't right for me to be involved and I need to work things out with him or stay single. I have tried to reconcile twice now and he is very mean about the whole thing. I feel like he is a game player and he uses my son to get to me. Any advice?

My mother-in-law is not happy with the idea of my wife being a mother.

I am 25 and she is 23, we have been together for 5 years and married for 2 years.

We are very happy and have a great marriage and life together.

My wife has a college education and a career she loves.

We own a house and are doing very well financially too.

My wife mentioned to her mother that we would like to try for a baby in January 2007.

Her mom got upset and said my wife is too young to be a mother.

My wife will be 24 when the baby is born, my mother-in-law will be 46, and I will be 26/27 years old.

We are starting a family no matter what she says, but how do we deal with my wife’s mother?

Why is she against my wife being a mother at 24?

My wife's mother was 19 when she had her first child, had her second at 21/22 and was divorced at 24. But, my wife isn't making the same mistakes as her mother!

Just bought our home w/ help from MY parents. My job is near our home, his isn't. He refuses to leave and asks "Why should I be the one to leave?" Is there anything I can do to get him out? Both of our names are on the mortgage.

Sorry bad speller! If you are putting together a wedding shower at a resturant, do you have to cover the cost of everyone's meals?
Can it be no-host? Do you just provide appetizers?

Honestly, people pay 45-50 thousand dollars to go to China, Russia and other places to adopt. Why do we allow this nonsense when there are so many wonderful needy children here that want and need good homes? How sad.

I guess this is follow up on my previous question. Why are women so overly sensitive and defensive when it comes to talking about a woman's role? Let me start by saying that I'm 22 and married plus I work (as does my husband). However, the only reason I work is due to cost of living now a days. Once I have children I only think it's right that I should stay home and take care of them. I also feel right now that I'm semi-failing my husband since I'm not able to "serve" him as needed. Now when I say "serve" I mean support him, be there for him, take care of him (as he does for me but in different ways). I believe the woman should be submissive in a relationship when it comes to certain decisions. I don't mean submissive in the case of a slave and being bossed around. I just feel the man should be the leader.

Basically I think I'm trying to find people that agree with this and whole heartedly believe it. If you don't I would like you rational and nice opinion.
