We can't choose our parents that's for sure. But we can choose how we bahave. Yeah we all make bad decisions but we make those decisions. Noone tells us too, we do it on our own. There comes a time in life when you have to take responsibility for your actions. Blaming other people for things that you have done only keeps you in denial and leaves you feeling bitter and resentful. What a way to feel all the time. I am not trying to sound harsh, but it's the truth. I too used to blame my mom for everything. She wasn't a good mom and she was an alcoholic. I ended up being a drug addict and for many years blamed her for every bad decision I made. I thought it was her fault that I got hooked on drugs. I got older and realized that she did the best she could with what she was given. in other words she had a crappy childhood so she wasn't given the skills to be a good parent. When I was able to look at my life and accept that I had been the one who screwed it up not her, I had more love and compassion for my mom. Instead of all the hate I felt beforehand. We have a choice to repeat our parents mistakes or do something different.

so get over it, everybody goes through some bad to worse things in life, it wouldn't be life otherwise, life sucks, the rest depends on what you do with it. u could spend the rest of ur life thinking of all the bad decisions u made because of u or anyone else, what matters now is what u do next, u have a choice to make......make it worthwhile and u might just see things getting better. it will be hard, there is no way around it, but as the saying goes the harder it is, the more worthwhiile it becomes......or something like it......good luck.

I think I would step back, take a long look, and decide that just perhaps I could not blame my parents for everything in my life. As long as you have a scapegoat for your bad decisions, they will not change. There comes a time in everyone's life when they have to accept responsibility for their actions. You are way past due. Have your mothers and fathers employ a math practice so that you will be solid at math and also you'll be a vet. it may be more advantageous acceptable to move along with your father, you're the in reality human being who's certainly-known with the answer to that. Peace be with you.

Since when did parents live in your brain and made your decisions for you? YOU made the decisions, YOU made the choices you made. Even if they did bring you up wrong, it is up to YOU to see that, to take responsibility for YOUR OWN decisions, and to pay the consequences for YOUR decisions. This is what adults do: take responsibility for their own thoughts, decisions, and actions. Children don't.

If you still want someone to blame for a crummy life, blameyourself for making bad decisions. It is up to YOU to change your life for the better. It is NOT up to anyone else. NO ONE else can change you but YOU.

We have all made some bad decisions sometime in our lives. It is only human to do so. But not everyone blames their decisions and mistakes on their parents. I wasn't brought up very well either (lots of physical and emotional and sexual abuse), but I still turned out doing great in my life, having a great guy in my life, etc. I learned that it is up to ME to make good or bad decisons for MY own life, NOT someone else's responsibility to do so. That's called growing up.
