During the past 4 weeks, I never chatted to anyone and I really need tips on making new friends. I am starting to get very depressed for not getting new friends at school. I need to learn to speak my mind to other people. When I am near new students, words cannot come out. When I am with a friend's friend, I do not mind talking to them. What would you do if you were me? I need to get rid of my shyness. How am I suppose to overcome shyness? In my class, everyone seems to talk to each other but I just cannot get myself to introduce myself to new people. How do you do it? My older brother is kind of a loser druggie (just being honest here), my sister has 2 kids and is expecting a 4th and my younger brother is 25, single, works.. you know, does his thing. We are a very close family, my parents are still married…. Before I met my boyfriend (of a year now), I used to spend pretty much all of my time with my younger brother. We did everything together – best friends – very close. Well, my boyfriend doesn’t even like when I mention his NAME now. He doesn’t mind when I hang out with my sister and her kids or my parents.. but whenever I bring up my brother, he gets mad and tells me not to even talk about him. The thing that confuses me is this… he likes my brother; he even tells me that he thinks my brother is cool people. The other day, my brother called and asked if I wanted to go to a movie, and of course I told him yes – well it turned out to be a huge problem for my boyfriend and we got in a fight over it. He makes snide remarks all the time.

Let me begin by saying that we started dating in the beginning of June (days after meeting) had broken up after a month but have continued "dating" unofficially ever since. The thing is I care about him. Whether he feels the same is generally up in the air. He tells me he cares about me, he texts all the time and yet he hurts me and doesn't even know. To be honest, I find our ups and downs exciting and I am not really interested in a serious boyfriend (just a loving one). I just want to point out in addition; I am an incredibly strong, intelligent woman... I just seem to have a weak spot for him. I am just so unsure of his feelings and whether he respects me or not. I miss him and wish he treated me better, but I am also tired of feeling blue. I think he can best be compared to Mr.Big! It really is the same type of situation. Any advice?? He wants to get together on Saturday and has text three times without a response from me... should I meet up with him or just let this one die???

After 9 years of marriage my wife moved out. We were arguing a lot. She has been gone for 6 months. We have run into one another lately, over the last six wee and it's ben nice. We both have said that we want to work it out. Isn't six months too long? We barely had contact for th efirst 4 and a half months. Is it worth it? know black is "for" funerals... and I bought this super cute Springy white halter dress with pink and green flowers, but I cannot find the right shade of pink or green shoes to match and that stresses me out! I know I'm not supposed to wear white shoes after Labor Day, true or just a myth? so then I fell back on this adorable short strapless black dress I have to accessorize with red shoes, red bracelets, etc... is that off limits as well?! My wife and I are at odds with her daughter who is my stepdaughter. She is 17, dropped out of school in 9th grade, doesn't work anymore, disrespects us, is dirty, parties 24/7, etc. My stepdaughter and I got in a huge fight little over a month ago and she got thrown out. She was staying at a friends but just got thrown out of there too for the same bullshit. Now my wife says she might let her come back home since she thinks my stepdaughter won't have anywhere to go and feels bad or something since that is her daughter after all. I say that I won't live in a household like it was before and that my stepdaughter has to get a dose of real life. This circus with this girl has gone on for years and now we don't have to deal with it anymore legally since the cops say she is of age not being in school. Do you choose to bring her back in and probably risk the same crap as before or do you keep her out and hope that she learns to change?
p.s.-i also have impressionable 12 yr old stepson at hm

I got married 3.5 yrs. before, I found my wife very hyper & hash to everyone
In my family. So many times I tried to make her understand but she refuses to listen to me
As her stubborn nature. I’m a social businessman but she never understands my problems
& difficulties.Becase of her this aggressiveness I lost my newly born baby.
Now she blames on me for this accident every time. After this I underwent to depression.
But still her behavior is same. (After 2 months of my marriage we found she is suffering from psoriasis so I took her to Doc.he told us the treatment will start after pregnancy
Then after all these I took her to Doctor He said while the course of medi. We should not try for baby, but even she does not take the medicines)

Once I tried to tell my in-laws about my problem but they
Again blamed me for these all.
These all happened 2 yrs. back, after these all her mother got sick seriously (she loves her widow mother lie anything)
She stayed couple of months with her. When she came back again she is behaving same.
Kindly help me How to solve this problem as I can't discuss this with my mother-in-law & other relations.

i am a stay at home mom for my one yr old, and my two yr old. right now, it is too expensive for daycare where i live, so if i went back to work i would be bringing home about 20$ a month. i wouldnt mind basically working for free, as i love my job, and i am not stay at home material (kudos goes to all who are) as i frequently feel stifled in this atmosphere. does anyone have any ideas on how i can convince my husband that not all families benefit from having a homemaker? i can feel myself getting more resentful that he works, and gets to leave the house.
