I took me 2 failed marriages and a lot of dating to find the right one. I have no doubt that my wife and I share true love. We are best friends and always try to put the other one first. We talk things out instead of argue and when things are going rough in life we hang on to each other and our faith to get through it. We'd rather be together than go out with friends although we do meet up with friends and family for get togethers, etc. We don't go out alone with single friends or put ourselves in vulnerable positions.
There's nothing like this love we share. I never thought I'd find it when she came into my life and life has been much more fulfilling since we found each other. Love is real and when it is real you will know by the comfort level you feel with the other person. It will be nothing like you've ever experienced before.

Read in the Bible I Corinthians chapter 13. It is called the "love chapter" because it describes the godly kind of love people are supposed to have for each other. It is the same kind of love Jesus had for us when He died on the cross to save us from our sins. There is no higher kind of love than what He said, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lays down his life for a friend". If love doesn't follow this, then it isn't true love, but is something else.
