I explained in an early question that I'd won £5k's worth of holiday vouchers and didn't know whether to pay for my mum to go somewhere as she'd been ignoring me for a month. I was going to go to the Caymans with my son; pay for my mother & brother to go to St Lucia, then pay for my friend to go to Florence and then take a holiday next year by myself.. that would be the £5k spoken for.The Florence holiday is the cheaper one [I'm in the UK] but my friend asked me today if I could pay for me and her to go to New Zealand... instead of Florence.. which would mean there would be no money left on the voucher for me to go away by myself..I feel pulled in so many directions feeling that I have to please everyone and I wish I'd never won it now. I emailed my friend to say that the fairest decion was: take my son to Caymans for £1800 and provide £750 to her, £750 my mum and £750 to my brother to go where they want and donate £1k to charity cos I'm now fed up. Is this a fair decision?

well we broke up 4 months ago and it seems like she is the only thing I think about. she is still the first thing i think about when i wake up and the last thing I think about before i go to sleep. I dont beleive it. On the Tom Likas show tofday he said that he doesnt look at other woman when he is sexualy satified and physicaly attractive to his woman. What does that make me, my man looks at other woman (which I find disrepectful, if its in front of me) but apparently this is what all MEN and WOMEN do. I must say Tom likas has some good points but I dont know if this is true, because why do so many men look at porn when they have HOT woman. Is there any men out there that can honestly say they DONT look at other women

My best friend is getting married in October and they've done a website for there wedding, on one of those make your own wedding website, site.

I went to the Bridal registry, to see what they would like as a gift, but I honestly cannot afford what they've listed. They have several registries with several major department stores. Belk, Macy's, Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn are all listed.

The items are really expensive things like a Kitchen aid Mixer that sells for $399 on Crate & Barrel, a $400 chandelier, a $799 dining room table, a Cottage Armoire that sells for over $1000 at Pottery Barn, and so much more, the list is endless.

I don't know what to do. I’m on a budget right now and I'm already in debt from university, and it's going to cost me a lot just to get to the wedding which is in Atlanta . . . I’m in Raleigh. I don't want to hurt there feelings by giving them something cheap, so does anyone know of any quality stores with "cheaper" / affordable items?

yes, it is another teen with a boy problem! but i am one of the very few who can actually type and spell correctly so don't worry.

ok, so there's this boy and he's sort of my friend. and i guess i like him. but he told me himself he likes another girl. it really broke my heart but i told myself to just move on otherwise i would be wasting my time. but then i heard him talking to his friend who was saying things about the girl he likes, "she's so fcking mean now!" and the boy i like said something along the lines of, "i know...".
so maybe he'll stop liking her?
or should i just forget about him and move on?

Can they really look beyond it?
I think they could, but society looks at them & judges them on their wife (like a car, showing off a new bmw vs. a beat up old whatever).
Isn't there a small part of it that they think about what others think of them & therefore are not OK w/ it?

I ask because a friend of mine has a husband who always verbally abuses her for being overweight but she puts up w/ it (and then complains to me)

A friend over heard her new bf asking if there was going to be applesauce at a party. How it sounded it was either a new slang term for some kind of drug or some kind of sexual thing....she doesn't want to get in over her head with this guy.
