that would be a great news to me. I've been having this huge crush on my best friend, but I can't say for sure whether she's straight, bi, or les. So yeah! if I find out that she is a lesbian, I will definitely approach and tell her about my feeling. Of course I'd hope that she feels the same way about me, but that's not for me to decide. One way to find out is to go for it.

The worst thing that can happen, is that she leaves you for a girl and that is not pretty. A neighbor's wife lif him for a girl and I doubt that he will ever live that down.
Otherwise you'll have 2 g/fs and that may be nice.

If my only interest in her was sex, than I'd be somewhat discouraged
BUT if my Interest in her was because of what else she was and how she responded to things other than sex and how she was a good friend, then her being a lesbian would mean nothing at all.

I'd suggest that you maintain your friendship, but look for someone else to share a relationship with.
