A friend over heard her new bf asking if there was going to be applesauce at a party. How it sounded it was either a new slang term for some kind of drug or some kind of sexual thing....she doesn't want to get in over her head with this guy. She asked me, but I am 45 years old and I don't think my applesauce would be his king....thank you for your help....

It was used to refer to something that was nonsense/ridiculous etc in the 1920's. That is the most accurate of these answers.
