yes, it is another teen with a boy problem! but i am one of the very few who can actually type and spell correctly so don't worry.

ok, so there's this boy and he's sort of my friend. and i guess i like him. but he told me himself he likes another girl. it really broke my heart but i told myself to just move on otherwise i would be wasting my time. but then i heard him talking to his friend who was saying things about the girl he likes, "she's so fcking mean now!" and the boy i like said something along the lines of, "i know...".
so maybe he'll stop liking her?
or should i just forget about him and move on?

no, it was not him who said the thing about the girl being fcking mean. it was his friend.

I would forget about him. Also, he has a dirty mouth.

He was probably just talking with his friend and telling him what he wanted to hear. Play as if you don't care. If you make yourself you available they never want you. They like something they can chase around a little bit. Oh and by the way, you didn't capitalize your I's!!!!

I would tell him that, if he needs someone to talk to you will always be there for him.

being a best friend is a good way to get closer and stay in touch, he might come around after you two get closer.
