I work at a job that provides great pay AND benefits (much better then I did as a teacher).

I feel as if I am going mad (well "mad" might be a a bit overstating it,)

however.

I like working with people that involve caring for others (that's why I chose teaching, but I couldn't pay my bills) and in turn ALSO are supportive of the people they work with.

This is not the scenario of this position.

As a secondary part to this question: IF you did say yes to "have any of you felt "displaced" at a job?," answer this queation:

"What did you do to resolve it?"

I have been going boyfriend about a year and a half now, and for that time, I have really got on great with his friends. I always hang out with my boyfriend, and all of his friends, we do stuff like go out for pizza, go bowling, go to games, etc. Generally I am the only girl in the group, but my boyfriend is totally stoked that I am such great friends with his buddies. When I go to parties, and those guys girlfriends are there, I am generally just chatting with all of my boyfriends friends, and thier girlfriends are really snotty to me, and really mean, a few of them have some some underhanded nasty remarks, but I always try to be nice to them, I am just not really into stuff like gossip and celebrities, so I usually don't talk with them, but when I do, they are always mean. What is going on?

dont get your panties in a bunch, just answer the question. I DONT need an explanation, I only care about what I ask you.

Do you smoke ?
Do you overeat ?
Do you drive to fast?
Do you talk on a cell phone while driving?


IF you said yes to any of these , YOU are potentially a killer as well as committing slow suicide. You're prolife so why would you do those things I listed above? ( IF YOU DO DO THEM, I dont assume all do)

Anyway, I'm in High School and there is this girl thats always flirting with me and trying to be around me. I like her too but she is shy and I'm shy too, lol
I'm scared to make the move, its frustrating. When ever I'm around her I just dont have to courage.
I cant stop thinking about her, How do I go about this.

I have a huge prob......... I have a guy that I hv been going out with for more than a year. Now this Doctor has proposed to me. My family LOVES him. and.........I refused him.Now, my family is acting weird. They are treating me differently. The few days that this Doc guy was in the picture, my parents treated me so well. Now, since I totally refused they are treating me so differently. and this is killing me. I feel like I hurt them. This has gone so far that my parents are not even talking to me properly. I feel like I di dthe worst mistake of my life. Now they are even cursing me and I can't take it. They are making predictions that this affair that im currently having will end in disaster. I dont know what to do about this. It is totally ruining me and I'm lost. I know this sounds stupid, but I sometimes am so down that I feel like running away or suicide or something. I'm not sure why, but I have concerns for one of my co-workers at work getting a divorce. I think she's just going through the typical mid-30's crisis. I don't want to see her go through this because she has 3 beautiful girls and a husband that really cares about her. I WILL tell you that I am not looking for responses that advise ME what to do. I also don't want to hear that I am being negitive.

I love to work, and I plan to work the rest of my life.. I just want to be true to me.

I have been at this job for 6 years and have a hard time believing that this is all there is.
