Actually, photos like this DO change minds. I've seen women change their minds on the very day their babies were scheduled to be killed, because someone cared enough to be outside the abortion mill and show them the truth.
By the way, abortion never justified, not even in the case of rape. See:

I agree that abortion is a horrible thing, but no one is happy to have an abortion. They do it because they feel it is necessary (and many times it is). The reality is if you made abortion illegal it wold not stop abortions. It is better to have it done safely than for someone to use a coat hanger in their closet. Also, what if someone was raped? It is all fine and dandy to say that it will be ok for raped women to get abortions but that is impossible. The reason for this is that less than 10% of rapes are reported (many times the reason for this is the women knows her attacker and is scared). The law would rarely be able to prove a women was raped (many rapes are not reported immediately after the rape and physical evidence is gone) and by the time the court trial convicted the rapist (which is the only way to legally prove she was raped, other than medically) the child in question would be two. If your 15 year old daughter was raped what would you have her do? Carrying the child of the person who just raped you for 9 months is a very difficult thing to do, especially for a fragile, hurt, and recently physically assaulted teenager.

Lovely. If you really want some ammunition read the district court ruling in Carhart v. Gonzales. That should give you every bit of information you need to prove that partial birth abortion is wrong. Then read the ruling to understand why it has to be constitutional (right and constitutional are not the same thing). And then question why the US has the highest abortion rate in the industrialized world. What are you doing to encourage young men and women to make responsible choices? (Note: pictures like this don't work-- we need to get them to use protection)
