My nephew is 16 years of age and lives with me. His mother refuses to let him move back in his own house. Everytime he goes home to stay the night, he and my brother-in law get into a big fight and my nephew ends up back over here. What do I do to stop this?

I've never been one for material things or keeping up with the "Joneses" and I all I really wanted was to be with a man that I could treat like a king with all of my being. As long as he acted like one and treated me with respect and kindness. Although I continue to take care of the kids, the house and the bills, my husband does nothing for me or our kids. He spends more time with his co-workers and his computer than with us. I've tried to live my life as he does, separate but he sabotages everything I do. Going to the gym, back to school or even starting a new job. On top of all of that my husband smells so rank that me and the kids can't stand to be near him. He has a medical problem that is an easy cure but he refuses to get treatment. Even if I wanted to have sex, his stink prevents it. I have no friends or emotionally close family members. I'm very lonely and deeply depressed. I am seeing a shrink but it's not helping. I see my life slipping away and I don't know what to do.

Ok, guy I met a month ago....made out at a party while drunk, blah. He asks for my number. Since then we've hung out about 4 or 5 times, and talked a lot on AIM (yes, dorky). Anyway, it seems like all he ever wants to do is for me to spend the night and so he can hold me...last time I gave him a handjob on accident, after he had this aggressive makeout session with me.

I mean he does call me sometimes, just to talk, etc. He also called me to tell me to pick up a job application from his work. We also ate lunch out once.

But yeah, does he just want me as a cuddle buddy or what? And does he actually like me?

For example, tonight he was studying and invited me over to study with him, so I told him I can't spend the night because tomorrow I have an early class. I said I have to leave by 1 AM, and then he says he doesn't know when he's going to bed, but probably earlier.

BTW. I am a virgin, he knows it. I am a total prude, and he is NOT a virgin...but I am one.

I have broken with my boyfriend as he had made another girlfriend and he was never serious with our relationship. Though i know that it was not his true love for me, but i love him truely with bottom of my heart. iam trying my best to forget him but not able to do. i think it is one- sided love , but i can never forget my first & last love. I'm 13 and really look up to a 23 yo girl. I admire her principles, her sweet heart, strength. I like to go out with her, to talk to her about everything. She's young but teaches me a lot about what being a womam is. She graduated in Biology, has a job and still studies.
But unfortunately she doesn't get along with her parents. She doesn't live with them and wrote them off her life. I don't know the details, but she says they were to harsh on her when she was a teen, they made her so resentful that she didnt get over and never will. I know their parents keep trying to get her again, her mom asked her to talk to them to fix their relation now that she's an adult, but she refuses. Some people say I shouldn't hang out w/ her cause she's not an example of what a good daughter should be, but why not? She's a great girl, a great older friend.! I believe it was her parents fault, no one understands how a girl like that can be so resentful of her parents. At her job everybody likes her

I am 20 yrs old. Next month i m going to marry. I don't know him personally. I don't have much chat with him. My parents has selected him. I am afraid about my first night. As i never seen something like this, ya i know much knowledge about it. I have read books about it. But i don't know how to for it. Will it scaring, paining.

Okay, here's the situation. I am 24 years old, female. I live in NY state. I am in love with this guy. Only problem is, He's only 17. (Not that this matters much, but he's very mature for a 17 yer old.)I know in NY state, legal age of consent is 17, but I've also heard that some states also have laws that you cannot sleep together if you are so many years in age apart. I would appreciate all and any help anyone can give me. We haven't slept together, I just want to know if it would be legal or not.

How does someone tell their parents something like...

How would someone tell something like this to their parents.

Some people have really strict parents, so how would someone tell them without bringing shame or getting rejected?

I HAD a gal-friend (we used to be best friends until about 7 years ago, when she got so selfish it just caused me to not even care to be around her anymore. April was the last time I saw her. I've called 4 times since then, & she hasn't returned any calls.& she knew I was moving; I changed my move date, but I hvn't told her. She knows my #s (2) & my email. I've 'saved' her from suicide, been her maid of honor for 2 of her marriages (she's on #9) & she disses me like these last 4 months (this isn't the 1st time).& I'm fed up being her enabler. I hope she has a good life...it'll sure be without me. I just realized she's really never been a friend.
I'm not running away, or looking for the grass to be greener, but I'm really looking forward to this upcoming move. I'd like some serious opinions/thoughts on how you guys feel about 'starting over'. Do you think there's a time when it's normal to shake off old 'friends' and look forward to meeting new ones?

Well... I'm stuck between 2 girls. I like them both but I like them in different ways. The one let's call her (1)...I think of as a friend (a really really good friend). She's been there for me and helped me out alot.
The other...lets call her (2) i've liked for some time now, and im pretty sure she likes me.
(1) has helped me out in trying to get a date with (2). So we had it set up for toinght. (2) never showed. All of her friends said that she usually does this to guys. So I felt kinda bad but decided to stay and have fun with (1) because she was there too.
So me and (1) hung out and...well got kinda close. She tried to kiss me a few times but I resisted seeing as how i'm not totally sure of my feelings for her. Then i get home and (2) calls me and tells me why she couldn't make it. I called around and sure enough it what she said was true. (It was a legitimate reason for not being able to go).

So, I wanna know...how do I go about this without hurting 1 of them?

Everyone has friends who drink. After you hear about kids who die in accidents involving alcohol, you realize that this can easily be your friends.

But there are only two types of drinkers: those who think you're just being a wuss for not drinking and those who are in denial that they really ever get drunk, just buzzed, so it's not dangerous. My friends are the second type, so how do you help people like that? Statistics won't help, and neither will the stark reality that drinking causes death (which have hit some of my friends pretty closely seeing as someone they know has died of it). What's their problem?

My husband had an affair last year for 3 months when our child was 6 mths old. When I found out he said he would never leave me and said the affair meant nothing. Is she so hurt because i took that long without calling her? I immediately texted her afterwards & promised to call her again tonight. Do you think she will pick up her phone this time? We have been really close the last couple of months & seeing her acting like this is really hurting me.
Do you think she liked me & was hurt by actions? I did this because i thought she needed some space. Guess i was wrong.
