idk i lost it she says she can forgive me but i can forgive myself im going into a treatment center about it but she wants to stay toghther and i think we should break up what should i do

Once anyone starts hitting, it gets easier the next time and so it progresses. Many females hit as well! People who do this have anger issues and should seek professional assistance! Good luck. if you are going into a treatment center and they help you, then why break up if she has forgiven you. If you do it again absolutely break up and stay away from women!

I think your on the right track breaj up for now and mayb ein the future you two can get back. Im glad to hear u are accepting resposibility for your actions and thats the first step to change. Go to the treatment center first and foremost. I think I would advise you not to break up, but to take a break. Like keep in contact with each other by telephone until you start your treatment. AND, I am quite sure that they will advise you what is best once you get there.

Well if you really love her and you think the treatment center will help you should try sticking it out with her. If you feel like theres now way you can control yourself and dont want to hurt her then break it off with her.

well heres my take... true it is never ok to hit a woman ...but it is also true that it is never ok for a woman to hit a man. I am a man raised to never hit, unfortunatly some women use that knowledge to hit a man without the fear of getting hit back.
If fact, now that I am over 50, I realize that no issue short of self protection is really worth getting phyical over. Hey girls, if he cheats...leave the bum, but keep your paws to yourself.
I had 2 different girls in my life that were fighters...and even though I was raised not to hit, I was always afraid I would be drunk one night and get hit....then uncontroabally I would cold **** her.... I left them both...not worth it to remain in a relationship like that.

First of all you shouldn've smacked her in the first place, and maybe you should break up so you can go through the treatment and get the help you need to get so this won't happen AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, been there and sone that! Do what your heart tells you to do. Can you trust yourself to NEVER do it agian? Then you have to break down and ask, "how could she make me so mad, I hit her?" Could it had been that bad? Thats called soul searching. Very scary, indeed. I hope it works out for you. Everyone makes mistakes, hopefully you learn from them.

she shouldn't forgive you, but since you can't forgive yourself, i guess it will do. no, you shouldn't have hit her, but it's done and over with, so let the past be the past. if you are actually thinking of breaking up over that, i say you're a dumbass. if she actually loves you enough to put up with that sh*t, then you're stupid to try to mess that up! get your sh*t together and treat her good.....then decide if the relationship is worth it.

You should go tell her father what you did and when he gets through beating hell out of you you want do it again. However if you are afraid she will make you mad enough to hit her again you should leave and seek counseling
