Well, I think I've figured out why I stay with my bf who is so introverted and difficult to figure out. It's because it's a challenge to me and I was taught that anything worth having should be hard to get. That explains why I don't give up on my bf because he gives me little glimpses of hope here and there, yet remains introverted and difficult to understand. It's very hard to be patient and I don't even know if I should be. I get the idea that he doesn't want to be like that yet it is such a habit for him. I've even found books for improving conversation, etc in his house. which is why I have hope that he won't always be this way and just needs time and encouragement, any ideas?

I've dated my boy friend for 2 years. Since our senior year in high school. Things have been great until now. He hisself hasnt called me since he went a school 3 hours south. He was there another time and always called me. He hasnt mailed me at all and I mailed him 3 letters and stamps. he kinda complained about me texting him on his cell, so I mailed him $10 and he never said thanks. His sister was there before, but notr now so I don't know if he has changed. All I can think about is if I should breakup with him. I love him. He said, "I love you" first. His parents are great and his sister too. They really like me. I'm pretty close with his sister. I wonder if I do break up with him, they won'y like me any more. 85% of people are telling me I should. Bat until now he's been there for me. I love him dearly. His given and made me such sweet things. I don't know what's the right idea. Wondering about breaking up is the only thing I can think of. I don't know. he's been my Prince Charming

meddling. That would be understandable if you dind't get along with her then. But I mean if she's just not your cup of tea. My mom-in-law is in her 80s, rather backwards (she still cleans up after her 50-yr-old son!), Southern, has a really bad accent and sounds nearly illiterate. Ugh! I know it sounds shallow. How can I look past our differences?

I am with this woman who treats me really, really badly. I would do anything for her, and i really love her, but i am to the point where i just want to end things with her because the pain is too unbearable, and she always mistreats me. I am married and have a small child. I often day dream about something happening to my child or me(car wreck, murder, kidnapping, etc.). Sometimes it happens at night, but mostly during the day. Lots of men complain about lack of sex in their marriage....I feel like the only woman in the world that has that issue. He's always too tired, rather watch TV, has a headache (seriously!). I've been told by several men that I'm attractive, so I don't think that's the issue. I make very effort to get him interested, and despite what he says to the contrary, I make the first move 90% of the time. We are only in our 30's, but his lack of interest and passion makes me feel like we are an couple in our 70's. We have had fights about this; I have tried to tell him that I feel like I'm unattractive, rejected...he thinks I'm nuts. I love him very much, but I sorely miss the passion that was once in our relationship. He is a great husband and father, so I guess I should try to look beyond this....but, to me, sexual expression is a important part of a relationship. As we get older, I imagine the problem will get worse. I'm sick of being the one that always makes the effort...

my wife got angry at me today when i asked for us to plan a date night and schedule it on the same day each week so our older children could arrange to stay home with our younger children. she seemed upset by that.

ultimately though the real reason she was upset is i said i would help her with lunch today and when i suggested bringing home pizza, she said no. i laid out hamburger for lunch and then realized that if i came home for my lunch hour and fixed the burgers, i really can't take another hour and stay home and eat with the family...so i just let it go.

she's on her period and very irritable and feels she needs rest and pampering from her 2 hour a day job.

i dozed off last night at the ktichen table for about 20 mintues and then left the room while she and the other kids were having their "time" and as soon as i hit a sofa in the other room i slept for another 40 minutes.

she was very upset and felt sleeping was selfish.

what can i do?

I am married to a man 18 years younger than me and my son is 4 years younger than him. My son is married and has two children 1 and 5, he also has a hard time keeping a job - but there has been much improvement in that area. He has been laid off due to lack of work and has to stay home to watch the kids during the day while his wife works and doesn't have a lot of opportunity to look for a job. He has had several interviews but no offer yet. They need help with their utility bills and my husband resents me helping them, he thinks I am hurting them by helping them financially. I am seperated from my wife since mid december, the reason she gave is that she didnt love me any more and i didnt show her affection, since then we are getting on brillently we still sleep together occasionaly we go shopping, out to the cinema etc she has said she never wants a divorce we were together for 14 years married for 3.5 of them, she says she fancies me, she enjoys the sex side of things and enjoys the trips out but says she couldnt love me, i love her to bits and have tried to break away but havnt found the strength to do it, is it worth me carrying on as we are hoping we will get back together as man and wife or try to forget her and move away(which i dont know if i could do)
