im almost 18...i got an awesome bf, they know nothing about him...they would be so mad..cuz its a religous thing, should I just tell them about him...or what, they think they can still ground me. I hate that, I need help bad

I just found my father after 15yrs of not seeing him or talking to him. And now I feel guilty cause am keeping it from my mom and sister (they hate him) and I feel like he doesnt deserve to see me or talk to me. he never tried to find me .. and well he was a mean drunk when I was a kid.. he would beat me and my mom... but yet .. now I can tell he has changed... I still feel like he doesnt deserve to see me or my kids.. or talk to me.. why is that?? why do I feel like this? does he deserve that?

I don't know if they can look beyond that fixation, but they also happen to have arms, legs, a head and a torso as well. If every man walked around with it hanging out of his trousers then it might have some relevance.

I have found that men who have daughters seem to be more sensitive and gentle than men with sons. This applies to men who have only sons or daughters. It seems that the men I have met that have only sons have less respect for women and tend to be a little rougher. Everything has to center around sports for them where as the men that I have met whom have daughters seem to be more respectful and understanding of women.

not able to pay her rent. Now she is in my life, she gets upset when I go out on a date, she is rude to my boyfriend and she tells my daughter she should not like my ex girlfriend. my friend went with this boy for 5 months. after 4 month i started tallking to his cousin. i was feeling him but secretly they liked each other. she broke up with her b/f and told me that she like him ( his cousin). the boy i was feeling.. i was mad *** hell when she told me ,she was still going to be with him. so i stopped talking to the boy i was feeling. now 2 months later they are still together. and she was still friend with her ex and told him about me. so we meet and hit it off.... then in my mind i knew he still had feeling for her and she had feelings for him. she would get mad when were together even though i told him we were going to take things slow day by day.i knew they were feeling each other hugs, a kiss( he kissed her), and flirting and a hickie. i knew a little something about the hugs and the flirting. i felted pitty and was being stupid and led him borrow my phone. now he want give it back. we been 2gether 5 days. what went wrong and who was in thw wrong!!!

So, I'm 27 and I've not dated much ~ while I've had fairly serious friends, I've never "officially" had a boyfriend. I think because of my age and my inexperience ~ the very idea of dating doesnt make me giddy or happy, it scares me. I have a lot of friends / family and it's easier to foster those relationships and to feel the love and support from them than to deal with rejection or even to deal with the relationship. I definately want to get married but it's also not as difficult now to see myself as a spinster. What are your thoughts?
PS. I'm picky in that my first requirement is that he be saved and go to church, so the bar scene isnt really a good choice for me.

Why is it that most people can not get that there is a difference between having sex and having love. While in college I had several times where sex was just sex with no love attached. I've also had love where no sex was involved so why all the fuss. Just because you love a man, does that mean that you never want another one..... I don't believe that and if more women were honest they would admit to it as well. What are your thoughts on this?
