The sea levels have changed sub -
stantially over the last 77 years and it could be due to glacial meltdown, precipitation changes
like snow, sleet and/or rain. The
weather changes due to global
warming can melt the glaciers and
in a way influence moisture in the
atmosphere, with less snow in the
southern parts of Alaska, like Homer and Kodiak, more oceanic,
and or lakes and rivers fill up to
the ultimate levels to fill up water
increases.

Is this true that we have more water filling up the ocean, lakes,
etc.? Thank you for answering me
to use reason as Al Gore believes
in reason. Is the ocean level higher or lower?

I never thought that they were supposed to, but I've recently heard that they're supposed to. I thought that we are losing rainforest so quickly because they don't replace the trees they cut down. So, do they have to replace the trees? Thanks.

It has been said that the honey bee population has decreased alot over the past few years. I have read an article which said that some type of virus may be the reason. Couldn't this play a big role in our environment? Could this be part of the reason why allergies our on the increase among Americans? I'm just not sure exactly how it could affect the pollen counts. Honey bees are seldom seen anymore. And now its dealing with pests such as Yellow Jackets and wasps. Since the population of these two insects is soaring in our area! I would much rather have the honey bees!

Regardless of your stance on global warming, are we going to let europe and asia take the lead on renewable, clean, and nuclear energy technology because we didn't believe in global warming? Don't we all have the same goals here?

I always thought that being green included the three R’s – reduce, reuse, & recycle.
I know that the plastic bags aren’t the best thing for the environment. However, I don’t have a car, live on a fixed income, & those cloth bags are just not sufficient for my needs.
When I go to the grocery store, I stock up for the month. It’s just easier to make one trip for groceries for the month when I have to tote them on the bus. The plastic bags mold to the shape of my personal cart. The cloth bags would overflow the cart.
Now when I get home, I take the plastic bags & put them in my holder. I REUSE them for many tasks. They are great for cleaning the cat box, tossing out spoiled foods, little trash bags, packing material, dirty laundry on trips, wet umbrellas, etc. I have so many uses for the bags that they all find another use, some of them more than one additional use.
My green friends still say that I am ruining the environment.
I need another opinion...
