Have a relatively small A/C in my window. I don't really use it that often but I am wondering. If the a/c is on the high fan setting, will that use more, less, the same energy as on the high a/c setting?

Ironic, isn't it, that the global warming sceptics in these parts put forward such a weak argument that they are more likely to confirm the credibility of global warming by making the argument against it so laughable.

Should we encourage the pathetic posts of the GW sceptics as they vocalise a suitably poor argument for such a destructive point of view?

By using the abundant solar energy or by using hydrogen powered vehicles we can cut down on green house gas emissions. What is holding in the way of introducing these green powered vehicles?

Everywhere global warming pro/con disagree. Both talk. No one listen. On what do pro/con agree? Even one thing?

I read much from internet, try learning, but so many lies. Both say, "other lies. I tell truth." How can I know?

Both say "important person says this. believe this." I do not want important person. I know important people lie. I want truth. How can I know who tells truth?

I am a recent graduate in the geography and environmental planning field. Meaning, in college I studied maps, environmental hazards/studies, geographic information systems, weather systems, etc...

Right now I am working as a leasing agent at an apartment complex but this is not fulfilling at all.

Where should I look for entry level gis/environmental jobs?

I had one interview that analyzed flood risks (gis---sounded exactly what i want to do) but I could not take time off of work for the interview

You don't have to create an account, you don't have to sign up for anything. Just click the link, and the link will lead you to a tree. Every time someone visits this tree, another "visit" is added into a pool, and once it gets to 100 million visits, the website will donate money to the organization. Each day, your visits are renewed and you can visit this same tree again and donate another click to the pool! ^^ Bookmark it if you'd like, and if you want to create a tree yourself, it's fun to see how many people visit your tree, but as I said before, it's not required to help out! Fun to post on myspace or other sites that your friend play, to see how many people check out your links every day once you post them. I don't know, just an idea. Have fun with it!

Nuclear power plants always get a bad rap, but they are one of the cleanest sources of energy. I'm sure there are a lot of environmental nuts on here...just wondering what your takes are on this. Solar and wind power are still in there infancies, so why support nuclear power. It's highly regulated, there's virtually no chance of a nuclear 'spill' and it could replace coal burning electrical plants.

If global warming weren't a religion, why would we call Al Gore 'The Goracle'? Only religions have oracles, or Goracles!

If global warming weren't a religion, then why would Mr Jello say that it's a religion? We all know that reality is determined by Mr Jello, because he said that it is. If he determines what reality is, and he said that he determines what reality is, then he must determine what reality is, and therefore global warming is a religion.

Did I just blow your mind?

So who agrees that global warming is a religion? Al Gore is fat like Buddha!
