No it is not. It is the rapid increase in world wide media reporting that has led to the idea that there are more floods. Before the 1950's no one would have heard about floods in China for example. Because there is more reporting we naturally see more stories about it.

No. There seems to be an increasing amount of flooding, droughts, and severe weather because of how fast information travles and the amount of reporters. Even in many of our lifetimes this has increased. No one ever looks at the cyclic patterns of natural earth past the last 100 yrs or so. There are nature cycles that are on hundreds, thousands or more year time patterns. I am very much a conservationist and want to do my part to help, but much more needs to be done.

We experienced a flood in our small town about 4 years ago. The general feeling was that development was the cause. All the additional concrete and asphalt had created run off issues. There is ZERO scientific evidence supporting an made global warming. Until there is, maybe we should be spending that money on something that will really give us a payout.

I think so. According to the show I watched, An Inconvenient Truth, sudden and large droughts and floods are some of the consequences of Global Warming. But, some scientists still argue and debate if Climate Change is really the cause of all of those.

perhaps worldwide warming is responsible yet i do no longer think of it relatively is as guy-made as Al Gore might prefer you to have faith. worldwide warming is in straightforward terms a organic cycle the earth is going by. Floods ensue each and all the time. Droughts ensue each and all the time. next we will commence blaming God for the organic mess ups the earth is going by. Then what?

Yep. There was never a flood or drought until the first one recorded in the late 1960's.
No doubt man is the cause.....

No. The earth cycles and changes over time. The biggest change I can point to is the Caldera in Yellowstone. It is due to erupt sometime in the next 10k years or sooner. It will change this planet as we know it today.

No. Al Gore peeing in the rivers has been the cause for floods. Al Gore blowing his hot air is the cause for droughts.

No, look in the Bible God said that in the last days calamities would happen. The real reason is that we are getting closer to his return.
