Anybody care to try and quantify the amount of electric that lighting up a house with external xmass lights uses. A guess at the countries extra usage? some kind of equivelant so we can visualise the extra carbon footprint over say 3 weeks of xmas.

We have several years of back issues of NationalGeo. Is there an outlet for back issues? If not, since they are glossy pages, how does one get rid of them? I understand that they are NOT recylclable.
