No, it's not. Lynx(es?) don't wear bow ties, though their fur in the neck area does have a resemblance to one.

The first sentence of the article is not true, it's just some sort of nursery rhyme. The rest seems to be all true information, though.

A lynx is a large cat like a leopard. They don't wear bow ties.
