Depends on what you consider to be a sign. Most atmospheric models indicate that global warming will cause unusual weather patterns in different areas of the world. This years hurricane season was unusually quiet, while 2005's was unusually intense. Arctic sea ice has been radically becoming less and less over the last 10 years. 1998 was the hotter year on average in the history of the planet and 2005 was apparently indistinguishable from 1998.
Many feel that global greenhouse gas emmissions are responsible while others feel this is just a natural trend. I'm in the global warming camp, and feel that reducing emissions will help, and even if they don't, less air pollution is its' own reward.

Global warming is happening right now, and those signs previously listed are good ones; species dying or thriving in places where they normally don't live, bizarre bird sightings way outside of their normal range, melting icecaps, and a lot of other things. The temperature of the earth does normally fluctuate, but it has not been this warm in a very long time (I believe the Cretaceous period), and the earth has never heated anywhere near this quickly. Signs pointing to it being manmade are the near doubling of carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere.
This is going to be a hard problem to stop since there are a lot of positive feedback loops that will aggravate the problem. Newly revealed soil absorbs more heat than the ice that used to be there, and the raise in temperature increased soil bacteria activity enough in the UK that the increase in methane production by these bacteria completely cancelled out the UK's efforts to reduce their emissions.
It's going to be fun

Global warming is arguably already taking place. Some signs of this is obviously the temerature increasing, and ice melting, sea levels rising, and polar bears losing their habitats. In roughly 300 or 400 years, global warming will have drasticly chaged the temperature and ruined the ozone layer. Some scientists say that this is only a regular pattern and soon the temperature will fall, only to rise again, and this cycle will continue.

global warming has already been happenning for some time, though many people are too stubborn to believe it. some signs that plainly point to global warming is the increase in temperature in many places (alaska, poles), the icebergs are melting, and animals are either dying because of the heat, or thriving because of the heat. (columbia used to be too cold for the butterfly). The main reason for global warming is the ozone layer is becoming thinner and thinner. Some places even have holes (above Russia).

When will there be global warming ? Answer, right now.
Signs ? The permanent ice cap at the poles is constantly being measured. Scientists can easily notice the absence of ice where it has always covered the soil and stone.
There have been periods of warming and cooling in the past, but this time it's man made.

Well, rise in temperature is definitely a sign lol. According to global warming theories, polar ice caps will melt rapidly and cause the world's oceans to rise by several inches(and possibly feet). I don't know much else about it, to be quite honest.
Global warming has actually been going on for several years now, and is still continuing at a surprising rate.

The environmentalist want u to think that it is happening right now. That bad CO22 from the US burning all that fuels is going to kill us all. They say that CO2 has increased 30% . That is strange I cant find that bad old CO2 where did it go. First if CO2 had gone up 30% there would be some dead people from the CO2 pushing the oxygen out in the low places. Mother nature has already fixed it with plants making their food from CO2 ,water ,and sunlight it is known as photosynthesis.
