I live in Arkansas and have just started looking into possibly putting a turbine at my home (plenty of acreage) but it seems so unbelievably complex. Has anyone done this yet? Pointers? Cost? What's needed and what's not? I get price ranges from $7500 - $33,000.

one of my friends claims to have burned water. this makes no sense to me unless the water was contaminated by something that would have burned....however, that would mean that it wasnt the water burning.

my friend claims the water was not contaminated. is this possible that instead of water evaporating, it burned?

You have two drums. One is three gallons and the other is five. You have an unlimited supply of water but need to get exactly four gallons. How could you do it?"

CO2 is 30% higher than it has been for 650,000 years. Methane is 130% greater. These are two of the main pollutants humans put into the atmosphere in excess, and they are two of the primary greenhouse gases.

GEE, I did Not Know that THERE HAVE BEEN MONITORING STATIONS WORLD WIDE = for 650,000-Years?

And Core Samples, WHAT METHODOLOGY Was used for Analysis? Two Different Methods = WILL YIELD = TWOP DIFFERENT ANSWERS....?

America is one of the leading contributors to the problem of global warming. We consume most of the world's energy supply, and we also waste more than any other country in the world.

Can saving the world we live on from turning into inhabitable land, with a scarce drinking water supply, be left up to consumers? Or, do government and industry need to lead the way?

If you feel that government should lead the way, then should government require that manufacturers produce and package goods only with materials that can be recycled, in ways that are easy and accessible to every consumer, and in such a way that does not further contribute to the problem?

Or, if you feel that it should be left up to individual,s then how can we change the way we consume, and how can we change the way in which consumable goods affect the environment?

Think about it, when your driving home from work, and have to slowdown because of a cyclists. To overtake them you have to put your foot down, so increasing emissions. And if you can't overtake. your in your car for longer, which causes more emissions. They are a pain the the ***. Either get a car, bus or walk. Bikes are the worst.
