I dont want to hurt you because the answer is impossible. Regarding paper or other natural, bio-degradable bags, you should choose from the market, reject shops that use plastic bages and demand paper bags.

yes.. i think v all can make india pollution free by being more environment conscious.. By making minor changes in our life style i think each one of us can contribute towards making our country a more better place to live.. using paper bags alone doesnt reduce pollution altogether( of course it does help) but i feel no other form of pollution affects our health as much as air pollution.. take steps to prevent it.. the least v can do is plant a tree.. try walking or bicycling for short errands and leisure activities instead of driving a car or bike..Carpools and public transportation reduce the number of cars on the road and miles driven..Keep car filters and catalytic converters clean as dirty air filters increase fuel consumption..Reduce waste, Repair broken items rather than buying new ones. Recycle and compost potential wastes before they become part of the waste stream. u can work in groups or join an organisation n let people know u care.

Yes, it can be made, provided every Indian becomes environment concious and contribute to make the country pollution free. Mere stopping use of plastic bags cannot contain the pollution.
1. Save electricity /fuel at house and workplace by every possible way. This will save our precious non-renewable fuel and lessen pollution. Government should also boost for alternate, renewable, less polluting fuel/ energy. 2. Plant trees and save the existing trees. 3. Go for green transport. 3. Erect sound barrier at both sides of the road. 4. Treat the domestic and factory effluent to safe level for health before disposal to water bodies.5. Keep the surroundings, roads, sea shores, river banks etc.clean off litters. 6. Compost the biodegradable waste to manure. 7. Make safe disposal of non-biodegradable waste. 8. Eschew, use and through habit. 9. Use recycled material as much as possible. 10. Present your old electronic gadget to the needy rather than throwing or give for recycling. 11. Properly treat and dispose medical wastes. 12. Use alternate to plastic whereever possible and go for biodegradable plastic. 13. Factories and generators exhausts should have proper filters to capture the pollutants. 14.Opt for organic farming, use organic-manure and pesticide instead of chemical ones.15. Plant Jatropha/ castor/ pongamia/palm etc. in the unfertile, barren lands for bio diesel.16. Don't bathe or wash clothes at the river banks. 17. Maintain clean public toilets at places throughout the country on payment basis to keep public from using open places.18. Stop disposing raw effluent to rivers, as water is drawn from these rivers for domestic purposes. 19. Harvest water, to be used for agriculture, domestic use etc. 20. Abide by environmental rules and regulations of Govt.
Country will surely be pollution free.

There are two methods for it specially for indian environment....
Ist..
educate everybody and tell the truth...but this method is not practical so much...
Next...
Increase cost of plastic bags and decrease cost of paper bags so that people automatically use paper bags....
One idea more...
make paper bag a style icon.....
atleast young will be affected very quickly...

first you have to stop buying things in plastic bags, second i have to stop using p.bags.then everybody.every thing invented has an disadvantage one or the other, if we have the knowledge to find the disadvantage of a product why not we find how to use it and re-cycle it without harmness to environment. Lots of environmentalist( Interested on saving good environment) has already suggested how to re-cycle plastic bags, but THE GREAT INDIAN GOVERNMENT knows only to save the leadership and posting not in motivating scientist except APJ - our h'ble president. -- a young, eco-friendly , knowledge oriented guy can suggest better.
