that they have been visiting us for centuries( hence the UFO sightings!) and have watched us bring our planet to breaking point, they state that as "Intergalactic Troopers" "policing the cosmos", they are taking over the the running of the planet for the next five "earth years", they have the formula to reverse "Ozone Layer" depletion and reverse "Global warming", they say they will reforest the Sahara desert, shut down all oil production gradually and ween us off of dependence on Oil for energy, replacing it with a new energy source. How do you feel about that ? hhmmmmmmm ?

In my opinion, the rising population across the globe is causing us to use all the land available. There just isn't enough land to cultivate anymore. Is the solution through bioengineering?

I have asked if you were concerned about the only planet in our solar system that can support life as we know it .

One iof the answers said instead of focusing on the bad think of the good things that have changed like the removal of lead from gasoline
Lead in gasoline helped reduce knock but ended up in our blood , a bad thing.

What are the many other things , if any, that the environmentalist have done to help everyone yet not hurt the economy .

Was the removal of lead from gasoline an act of the environmentalists or one of those other wacko groups like MADD Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

We are trying to determine the efficiency of unleaded gasoline, pure ethanol, 10% ethanol, B20, and B100 (using Jatropha biofuel). Most likely, we will try to use a basic self built calorimeter to test for how long the fuels burn, how quickly they reach their maximum heat (and what that maximum heat is), the time it takes to reach its flash point, and the overall heat/energy produced. How should we go about with this experiment? How could we build our own calorimeter? How much fuel should we be burning (we were thinking about 250ml but that might be a bit dangerous...)? Are there any other important sources of fuel that we should be including in our tests? We also wanted to try and test for the negative emissions, but that might be hard. Do you have any idea of how we could measure these emissions (CO2, nitrogen, sulfur, etc)?

I can see it coming, whether by nuclear, biological or other means, we are surely heading for extinction. How much longer do you think it will be? Maybe a few million years from now some other species will evolve the intelligence to dig up our fossils. What will they think of us?

In order to recycle you must clean the container, that involves the use of soap, and power to heat the water, and of course the refining and treating and transportation of the water itself. You no doubt keep the recycling container in the garage so need to consider the heat loss by opening the front door to leave the house to enter the gaage.
Based on the above this tin can must be very valuable if it is worth recycling. Does anyone really know if the energy used in prepearing and cleaning the tin can is less than the recycled value of the can? (for teh record I am concerned about global warning, but the scaremongering and bare faced lies put out by the Government really make me question what we can do to prevent it and the value they attacht to their soundbies)
