Revinventing ourselves would be hard at our current techonological level. Evolution only happens based off of Darwins Theory of Natural Selection (basically lets say a disease kills most cows but some resist well those that resist will survive and become the new "evolution" of that species that is resistant to that form of disease). Course there are other "theorys" on evolution but i believe Darwins most of all. Defying Time is only a matter of time.
