I'm going to be doing some job shadowing with a teacher to learn more about the proffession and I need some questions to ask the teacher when I'm job shadowing. I just don't know what kind of questions to ask. Can anyone give me some ideas for some good questions to ask?

And when they start acting up in class, pull the respective doll out of your desk so the entire class can watch you stick needles into its body? What about if the student is caught surfing the web for non-school-related information? Should you then stick the needles itnto the doll's eyes, just to set an example, while the entire school watches?

I believe there is a lot of discrimination (age&sex).
I am a 52 year old male trying to find a teaching position. I graduated on August 4, 2006. I am very frustrated and begining to think that I waisted 4 years and thousands of dollars.

Im a teacher/lecturer and I've taught many students in my time. However I currently have a major dilemma. One of my female students is extremely atrractive and i mean extremely. The problem is she seems very flirtatious with me and it makes things rather uncomfortable as I dont know how to deal with the situation. I value my career too much to make anything of it and I am totally against any form of student/teacher relationship. But should I confront the student and make her aware of her actions or inform a senior member of staff? She isnt out right flirting but it is all the time although it is subtle on occassions it is still awkward, thankyou.

How much on average, do you spend in one school year?
I know there's a big difference between getting started your first year and the years after when you're a bit more settled and have most of your resources at hand.
Just looking for a ballpark average... I'd like to see the teacher expense deduction raised from the measley $250 we currently get.
How much have I spent? Let's just say that I got a low-interest credit card and use it ONLY for teaching expenses, lit guides, supplies not provided by the district, class rewards, etc.

I gave this homework assignment last night and had the kids do two of the problems in class, so they knew what to do on their own. I get one back today with the nastiest note ever! About how I need to do my job and make sure they understand their homework. I was so insulted! Do parents really expect that their kids will always know how to do their homework? I didn't when I was in school.
