Here's my problem: My class isn't doing well in Maths. My teacher makes the smarter ones sit with the less smart, in this way, she expects the smarter to teach the less smart. This doesn't seem working. Our results still come out bad, 7/46 pass the daily test. What should she do?
Sort smarter ones to a different class? In hopes that she can raise the standard of education for the smarter ones and to pay close attention 2 the less smarter ones
Any other ideas?

I am obtaining my Assciates Degree in Business, then possibly a Bachelor's Degree in Business with Indiana Wesleyan University. I am also thinking going thru their Master's Degree in Teaching. Has anyone been thru this? If so when?

Tell me what grade you teach and if you do grade papers in class, and how it helps you? Do you think that 3rd graders are too young to grade their own papers? Do the kids understand how to grade their own papers?

I have a group of 10 students. Hopefully half of them (strategic) will be able to progress to benchmark by spring. I use centers, but I need some specific activities to target these 5 students. Their attention spans are not the best, but I believe they have the ability to move forward.

When I tell them that my teacher never helps me with stuff. OMG! I say just ask my high school classmates and they'll tell you my friends have even told their parents and they don't belive us. My parents called the princapal and she didn't even do anything! I am also failing her class and do think failng is my fault? I don't think it is if she never answers my questions. My friends and classmates have told other teachers and they just say, "That's not true she is very good." Any ideas to prove that my math teacher isn't nice and to makek her get her @ss kicked?

I am interested in working as a teacher in North Carolina and need to know what credentials I need to obatin in order to do so. Tomorrow, during midterms, we have to write a literary analysis on "The Most Dangerous Game"...Problem is, our teacher hasn't taught us HOW to write one and this IS the first time we are going to write one. I am planning to move to a neighboring school district next year. I'd like to teach elementary school there, but I plan to continue teaching at my current school until the end of the year.
