i heard my teacher asking a few kids if they were on or off. what does that mean??? i kept hearing it all day. please help i am sooo confused!

You should gro a fro that would definitely put you in the on group. Remember that before joining the on group you should be able to throw a bowflex 20000 yards. If you can't smoke a monkey and don't worry about it. Good luck eating clowns.

on or off.. that could mean anything.

from what you mentioned to:

"the program"

"attention span"

"with it" (whatever it is at the moment with class)

so on.

maybe they weren't paying attention and the teacher wanted to know if they were present tense with everyone else or out there someplace in another galaxy far, far away.

maybe she could be talking about a project of some kind asking if there gonna be on it or not...........then again knowing how people are today drugs probably was what she was talking about,you never really know! so you on or off lol?

This seems to be one of those nosiness situations. As long as you weren't addressed, then you need not concern yourself with it. As my 4th grade teacher best put it: MYOB, Mind your own business.

He/she is probably saying random gibberish just to get the students attention so that he/she can teach... I'm not sure!

It means if they are paying attention or not! My teacher used to tell us to "pull our socks up!" meaning, try harder!
