how does this process work? are they allowed to choose what class period they want to teach? do they have to follow the teachers plans or do they make up there own?

ALSO
my 2nd period history class(Honors) might get a student teacher next semester and i dont like the idea of that what if he/she doesnt know what they are doing or dont know alot about their subject? and i also dont like the idea that my school puts them in all the AP classes or Honors classes (why do they do this?)

i'm not against it or anything its just that history is one of my favorite subjects and i dont want the student teacher to ruin it :(

I am in 8th grade and I would like to be a 3rd grade teacher when I get older. I would like to contact my old 3rd grade teacher and ask her some pros and cons about her job. I have her work email and I also came across her on myspace so, I am also able to message her through Myspace. Which one is the best way to go? Either work email or Myspace email. Do you think that she will get mad that I am contacting her???

My child has made me aware of the teachers behavior, her unprofessional conduct - name calling to the students and using terms such as "shut up." I want to take action, but would rather remain anonymous. Ideally I would like her fired. Is this a likely outcome? And what steps do I take?
